Those are Lippi's new words today on Rai:

-----------------------------------------------------

Lippi rejects Juventus's advances

MILAN, May 28 (Reuters) - Marcello Lippi said on Monday he wanted to continue his break from football management despite reported interest from former club Juventus.

Disagreements over transfer policy led Didier Deschamps to quit as Juve coach on Saturday despite their promotion back to Serie A following last season's demotion for match-fixing.

"I have already said that I am taking a break for some more months, therefore none of this (link with Juventus) is true," Lippi told Rai television.

"Juventus for me signifies eight stupendous years of great success and satisfaction, therefore it is a word that stays in my heart."

When lippi left juve in half of season 98/99 , he told that if i am the problem may i have to go.
When lippi came in juve 2001 had something to prove as he had failed in inter and juve had welcomed him with great respect.
Now lippi is wc winner and juve just only jave promoted to serie a, and who begs whom to save?
Lippi or juve?
I think juve is in top af all and if lippi come again he will be as our savour , as wc winner and JUVE is now again in serie a.
Juve must look without the ghosts of past like lippi or trap or someone else.
If Agnelli family have a person that loves JUVE then must give money for the best players around and if they can't someone else will be for sure.
If have left a JUVE spirit in Agnelli family must give their best in key persons in our stuff and players.
JUVE MUST GO ON

u r very right...but there is no truly good manager who is available...and the board has made clear that they r not gonna trust a relatively inexperienced manager...DD is easily the best Coach among the new breed...and we got ride of him so we will have to back to Ol' Faithful Signore Lippi

Is there any thread includes Lippi's announcements just before re-joining Juventus in 2001? If there isn't any (I know it is very old), does anyone remember what he said in that summer?

I'm digging lots of old threads out hoping I can find anything related to his last spell in Turin.

I really believe what Lippi has said, he's not coming back and that's it. Though out of all options mentioned so far, I hate the most the one where Conte or Ferrara should lead the team untill new year and then Lippi would take over, after he's all tanned and rested. That's simply unprofessional and completelly stupid. Screw Lippi, if he wants to rest he can rest, FFS, when are we gonna let him go? I don't know why people are so keen to see Tachinardi and Birindelli play again in our jersey. Because that's what's gonna happen, Juentus with Lippi is like an open book, his time with us is over and that's that. DD was our best option at this point in time and we blew it.

Word.

I think we have a nice solution for those who are keen to see Lippi, Tacchinardi, Maresca,....

The forum can organize a fund-raising to buy a VCR for each one of those fans, in order to enable them to see as much as they want of their beloved icons in Juve.

at least there are still meetings with him , he might change his mind which i think he will do at the end.
Yes, you don't mind seeing us kissing his ass to come. Do you?

I don't know how you're thinking but how do you think somebody, that hesitates that much, will be so motivated to work for the club and make good results?

I agree with that, its not the right choice to employ himself mid-season,
not just for us for any team (esp for us right now).
He is need to build a team, prepare it least:smoke:

thank god the Blanc denied those horrible claims on Skysports about Lippi.

Cause if they were true then it would've been absolute rock bottom

I agree totally with the bold bit...
but still the possibility that Bisco (Ahmed) talked about, and that Lippi is maneuvering coz he doesn't wanna upset DD and fans who Love him...
