im hoping that the reports linking us with lampard could be inter-twined with the coach situation, maybe flamps is saying to mourinho 'what you think jose, shall we give it a crack at restoring juve to there former glorys?' , then terry overhears 'whats that boys? thinking of moving to serie a eh? well abramovic isnt going to let me match shevas wages, i may just come along for the ride!'

yeah yeah i know im dreaming but theres nothing wrong with a nice dream!!

oh god :( THIS IS NOT JUVE! IT IS NOT JUVE!
andy r u saying this regarding the lampard, terry and mourinho issue or is it regarding the current fiasco we r passing thru at the moment.

if its the second bit then i totally agree this is'nt juventus it sounds like sth that could happen in lazio, parma or inter but not juventus.

I think, according to what DD is saying in the french papers, the managers want a coach with no much experience so they can do whatever they want, that is no invest to much and play for middle qualification...

DD has gone beacause he knows this management sucks. And Buffon will leave too-

I think the Juventus players themselves should vote who is the next coach they want, then it will make them happy, isn't it cool.
Anyway, i like DD. he's doing well though. it's sad hes leaving

just everything is so un-juventish the club we al truely love are run by faggots who's sole interest is to lie to its glorious fans and to pick up their wages, not to stick by the dream we were all lead to believe in. i want us to recapture that dream - lead by sum1 who truely shares that idea, i want a president and board for the people not to piss off the people. im sick of all this talk and no action unless its bad actions all this promise of building a competative squad and we go have a good start by sacking the man who was to realise that dream, and to seriously consider mediocre players to win us that dream. after watching 300 a couple of nites ago i broke down in tears cuz that was the kinda mentality juve and its board used to have, now we are lead by cowards. does no1 but the fans themselves love juve anymore? if thats the case i demand the heads of those in charge! we are certainly in for a summer of dissapointment. i mean u seriously think lippi wud wana work with these kids? or even mourinho? with all the clashes hes had with the board at chelsea, i dread to imagine how long he will last at juve, as for even considering amateurs like vialli and novellino makes me angry, so angry that i fear that the days of juve as we know it will never be witnessed again

Badass, I've already lost sleep over Deschamps' resigning, thanks to Secco. But I now feel much worse, thanks for that great post of yours. I'm not blaming you though, I'm as well gutted. :wallbang:

all this makes me wana throw the board members my juve shirt and to remind them who they are working for, cuz THIS IS JUVE! and if i had things my way i wud trash secco back to florence where he came from, i wud give gigli the job of being my butler, and i wud give back that dream to the fans i wud defy the law and gets some f*cking action done and give didi his job back, with full power over transfers, lippi as my right hand man, sumdays i just cant wait for ale to retire and to gain the throne that's rightfully his, the presidency

I have my suspicions about this. I don't think Secco and Gigli can go around and discuss how much money they have to spend, and not spend "a good chunk of it." The media will eat them alive so bad, it'll make this coaching saga look like Calciopoli. You'll see "the fall of the giants" and "incompetent management" and "just kill Juve now and be done with it." In other words, stuff the ownership wouldn't tolerate and stuff that will negatively affect the stock price. Mediocrity is not good for business and everyone knows it.

I think DD is telling the half truth (mostly cause I think he wanted to go to Lyon... while he's a Juventino, he's also a proud Frenchman, and now that he's done his service to Juventus, now he wants to do his service for the French nationals, seeing as the majority of them are Lyon players).

I think the truth is, the management either wants a top notch coach, like Lippi or Mourinho, who can definitively run the show with many years of proven class and achievement, OR they want a rookie who won't argue with them when they make a judgment call. I think Deschamps was somewhere in between... considered by management to be an average stop-gap coach who had to prove himself and he was barking out too many orders for their liking.

I also think DD and Secco have two completely different ideas on what works in Serie A and what doesn't. DD seems to want to bring in half the French team, and old players from Monaco (which very well could have worked). Secco seems to want to bring in proven Serie A workhorses, and maybe a big splash from a foreign league (Lampard?). Seeing how long it took Boumsong to go from a total liability to half-decent, Secco might have a point. Chaps like Saviola, Anelka, Guily, Mavuba and Malouda might take too long to get accustomed to Serie A, while guys like Mesto and Iaquinta know exactly what to expect. We may never know who is right, they may very well both be wrong.

Seeing as Secco is a disciple of Moggi, he probably wants to do a lot of shopping off the Bosman players, something DD might not have considered to be prudent to be champions and considers it to be "not investing much."

I should say, I like DD, but I'm not convinced this is a bad thing. I'm pretty neutral... until we see what the definite fallout is.

PS: I'm not convinced Buffon is leaving. Judging by the coaching options, there aren't many legitimate options there that would force a player out citing lack of competition or unreconciliable differences... except Capello.

I have posted this before:
It is painful and far from fair, but I wouldn't judge the Directors' competence just yet, sometimes bieng Ruthless is needed for succes.

Juve need:
A recognized Coach who players around the world know and respect. There are a handful of these such as Lippi. We all know we need worldclass players to immediately make an impact, but which one is ready not to play in CL?

Only a recognized coach can convince the few class players to play at a team in reconstruction. I don't think its about Secco not wanting to spend some cash.

Perhaps, up till now, not many WC players rate DD highly enough to join our cause?

Vialli arguably had more coaching experience than Deschamps. Stop being so sentimental. And dear god, I don't remember us defending the country Thermopylae-style. Besides, you ALWAYS start a football game 11 versus 11. Not 4 against 20 or something.
