I hope that he is just acting. Prandelli would be a good coach too but I think Lippi is the best. Moreover I think that it would be good for our transfers if Lippi joins us. But the best solution would have been keeping DD. In my eyes DD was a very good coach and he is a Juve Legend.

Get a grip FFS guys! Why we acting like without Lippi at the helm we'll be completely fuct????? Im sure we'll get the right man to lead us forward. Just because of Lippi's past doesnt at all mean he'll be a success with us again. Im sure given the change to another manager he'll do ok. But the question still remains WHO!!??

We'll be ok.

So stop shitting your pants guys.

Thats what im trying to say! Juve will always be strong. And i remember before Lippi started we gave him a chance and he turned out to be a awesome manager, but there is another Lippi out there, and we need to move on and find that new Lippi instead of going back the original to sort our crap out. Besides he'll only stay around for 3 seasons the least which annoys me. We need stability a manager that wants to stay 5-7 seasons without problems.

Juventus will survive with or without Lippi. If anything, this desperation for Lippi will only make coaching us that much more unappealing for him. Lippi said he wants to return to a serene environment, not 1 where the future of the club depends on him, which is what alot of fans are suggesting.

swag i like yr nominees but do u think its realistic??

i mean why would mourinho pick juventus over any other club at the moment in seria A to manage.
I don't think it's realistic. Mourinho has good reason to leave because of his own disagreements with Chelsea club management. So the timing is right. BUT:

    1) Juve doesn't have any real European play hopes next season
    2) Our board already has had friction with a manager, what would make them bring on another set of problems that may be even more of a headache for them?
    3) The board would have to prove competent enough to lure that kind of top-name talent here, which I have seen no evidence of happening.

There are three scenarios which may explain what the club is facing, I can't decide which is the nearest one to the truth.

The board of directors took an earlier decision, weeks or months ago, that they'd end Deschamps' contract with the club or they'd ignore him so that he'd resign. But they couldn't take such a step without having an agreement with Lippi/top manager to coach the team starting from the next campaign. And, this is the first scenario.

The second one is that the management didn't really know about Deschamps' resigning but they was expecting it. Therefore, they started their talks with Lippi and he agreed. But he can't announce it to the media, as the negotiation is still running and the announcement should be official.

The worst and the last scenario is that the management wasn't expecting Deschamps' resigning and they aren't in talks with any other coaches. And things would be much terrible if Lippi doesn't want to cut his sabbatical, besides Prandelli has a contract already with Fiorentina. Also, all the other rumored coaches are either average coaches or unrealistic to be join us. And if this scenario is right, so we're completely screwed.

i agree with what your saying man but dont you think we need a world class manager like lippi so the players dont leaveim all for finding another lippi, but if we take a risk on a virtual unknown e.g novellino, delio rossi etc we may lose our main players... just a thought, what you think?

i'm afraid its scenario number three. they mis-calculated the enitre thing and there fore this step is def unplanned for and there back up plan ( which is to get lippi back ) may just back fire on them.

without a doubt there mikey, if we will end up with a manager like novelino or dello rossi then ia m sorry but letting go of dd was just stiupid. dont forget dd was familiar with the players whether the youth players or the world class players we have, its def a plus for dd compared to the other names i mentionede who obviously will need time to get adapted to the demands the board wants and def the pressure we as supporters will apply on them. dont forget we or at leasta great portion of us expect at least the top three positions if not the title its self anything below this will really count as a failure in the eyes of many supporters. sth i dont see any manager could hamdle unless he is a world class manager like lippi, morinho, even crapello. other than that we r not going any where.

surprisingly i am sooooo coooool about the entire issue i dont blame any one not even dd or the players for anything they did what was expected from them with complete professionalism. del piero and trez scored all the goals they could score. buffon a world class keeper and the best goal keeper in the world at the moment gave up all the offers a goalie of his calibare could recieve and decieded to remain with juventus no matter where they were sent. neddy for heavens sake a 30+ year old player gave his everything for this club to the degree u sometimes wonder if he is 22 not 30+. cammo and marchioni tried there very best to deliver. for heavens sake eveen once crappy players like zebina and boum boum tried there best not to fuvk things up for us. every one did there role. we supporters god we did everything possible to support this team whether by helping the team financially by buying all our jersey's from the juve store or attending the games jus tto support this team. god there r guys on this forum who spent hours trying to sort out a bloody link for sop cast that sometimes doesnt even work so they can support juventus till the final whistle we all did our part ,now its this managements call to sort things out and they have a big responsibility of lifting our name where it belongs we r the most successful italian club in italy and we deserve to be the best team ever. so the first thing i expect is secco to be shown the door before we get a new manager this first and then gt who ever u want but there is no future with this moron

I agree with all what you said, Ahmed. But, I don't know what the board are planning to do. I know that they are dunderheads for letting go of Deschamps but we shouldn't add more instability to the club by getting rid of Secco. Deschamps is history now and I'm sorry for saying that but we must get over it. A top coach is urgently required, not just this but also to have the authority to buy and sell. This is the only way to build a competitive squad again.
