During the summer when Ranieri was reviled as Juve's coach on the front page of La Gazzetta it showed Ranieir Sailing with Lippi on his boat..I am thanking a guess they could be good friends and together they could have a better partnership if Lippi came back...

Didnt he say he never had the desire to coach outside of Italy? Why wouldnt he come back...he could look really good cause he would be the guy to bring us back to our winning ways even if it has nothing to do with his coaching. He could lure top flight guys in here
I was watching a interview and For Lippi he said it would be hard for him to go to another country to learn another lanuage due to his age....

Lippi To Replace Ancelotti At Milan – Report

Marcello Lippi could be set to take over from Carlo Ancelotti as Coach of Milan at the end of the season, according to the Corriere dello Sport.

The Viareggio-born tactician has been out of the game since stepping down as coach of the Azzurri following the World Cup success in Germany in the summer of 2006.

Lippi has turned down a number of top jobs during that time including Tottenham Hotspur, Valencia and even Juventus.

Reports in the Italian media yesterday suggested that the 59-year-old may in fact return to the Bianconeri to work as a technical director in charge of transfers and various other affairs.

However the 'Corriere’ is today claiming that Lippi, who has confirmed he will be returning tow work next season, will actually be sitting on the bench of Milan.

Current Rossoneri boss Carlo Ancelotti has won every major trophy there is to win in the game, boasting one of the best Champions League records in modern history since taking over in 2001.

Carletto is now seeking a new challenge and it is highly likely that this will be his last season at the club.

Lippi fits the bill as his replacement as he is one of the most successful coaches of the modern era, having won five Italian championships during two spells at Juventus.

With the Bianconeri he also won a Champions League title, an Intercontinental Cup, a Coppa Italia, and a European Supercup.
He also finished as a runner-up in the Champions League on three occasions in 1997, 1998 and 2003, as well as losing a Uefa Cup final in 1995.

i thought a lot of people here were against bringing lippi back because we have to "forget the past" or something like that. that's what i was told when i said how i wanted lippi to return a while back.

I am one of those who are against Lippi's return as a coach. But if he is to be managing director or whatever higher position then he is welcome with arms wide open.
