I wanted to post picture after success but the project failed. It seems the LaCie software supports only LaCie drives and Lightscribe.com has an rpm package only.

bah, tried to format my pc and it all went wrong. the windows cd was worthless so i was stuck with a no use pc. good thing i had burnt a copy of ubuntu

No, I was just taking a crack at the fact that everybody I know whom uses Linux spends their free time playing games on their graphing calculators.

i think there was an error with burning a windows cd, so i wiped off my hard drive while not installing windows, and from there it was either a choice of ubuntu or windows 98. and i dont ever want to see windows 98
