Can we learn something from Milan's dark period? They were relegated to Serie B back in 1980-81. They then returned to Serie A only to be relegated again for the 82-83 season.

It wasn't until Berlusconi bought the team in '86 that they began to recover.

Can we as fans learn something from this? Some of you oldies :)P) might remember how it was. Care to chime in?

    lesson? stack that cheese!
Well as fans Milanistas still had to endure 7-8 years of crapiness just like we are now. Some Juve fans seem to think we'll never return to what we once were. Will we? Can we?

Why don't you learn from Juve's recent dark period from 1986 to 1994?
    A) I was too young to remember
    B) Sucking because we were just going through a sucky period is different from what we're currently going through. Calciopoli caused our current state.

no i meant money was injected in the club bringing in players such as the fab dutch trio. And you re re right 86-93 wasnt that bad, we didnt make a habit of losing to the likes of bari. Calciopoli broke our psyche, confidence and aura there will be some time before those come back.

Oh I understood what you said. What I'm saying is that this is the 4th year after our demotion. We as fans right now have seen some terrible years in our history and at this point we cannot tell how long it will go on. Similarly Milan fans must have been going through the same thing. Sure Berlusca came along with his checkbook but that wasn't foreseen.

Exactly Jack, you, Sergio, and Pado should start a thread explaining to the younger forum members what happen during those unsuccessful years. Maybe some people could learn something from that period, and will hopefully help decrease the number of forum members bitching about our situation day in and day out. :xfinger:

Its almost true. Even though Im tired of us losing, its the way lose and the way we play. Im all honesty our players are not bad and we can honestly win the scudetto with our team, its just the way we play. Juventus just looks so unorganized its pain full. Its because of our leadership.

Milan havent won anything in a while either but they dont play like a bunch of serie C players. They play free flowing attacking football. Juve need to forget the tactics so much and go back to playing the way when it was fun.

To tell you the truth man, last year should of been a year of success for Juventus, but the management screwed it all up by hiring an inexperience coach.

Why are you focusing on what caused our state? we sucked back then for a period of NINE seasons, we suck now and it's been on for six seasons.

How am I focusing on the cause? This whole thing is about looking ahead not behind.

we cannot become a mid table club unless we go bankrupt, guys our infrastructure is simply too good, with a new stadium we will have heaps of revenue plus the new regulations will benefit us.
