So far, that period is still considered as THE Juventus dark period. Hell, we came in 3rd and 2nd this time around, we played in the CL and kicked Madrid's ass twice.

Yeah. I was quite young at the time so I don't remember the exact details or numbers, but things weren't looking too bright back then.
Moggi (& co) played a big part in turning Juve into a financially stable club, which we have been ever since.

Jesus Christ. I'm not talking about how we should be to return to glory, I'm speaking of learning to be patient as fans.

Can we learn something from Milan's dark period? They were relegated to Serie B back in 1980-81. They then returned to Serie A only to be relegated again for the 82-83 season.

It wasn't until Berlusconi bought the team in '86 that they began to recover.

Can we as fans learn something from this? Some of you oldies :)P) might remember how it was. Care to chime in?
What is it, you are suggesting we learn from that??? that we need to wait until we have rich owners??? we already have rich owners. The problem is...for the last few seasons, our owners have installed the wrong kind of people to run the club. And the way things are looking presently, not much has changed to many people. But I reserve judgement. For whilst we seem to have retained a semblance of prestige, able to persuade players such as Dzeko and Krasic to actually want us, even when we are not in the champions league, it remains to be seen, what kind of team Del Neri and Marotta are creating...which will be, the judgement measure for Andrea Agnelli. Who is far from a pauper...

    OH :D

Well, yes that makes sense. I have noticed it as well here, fans have no patience at all and that's why they start screaming.

Isn't that what makes Juventus fans great? We don't accept anything but the best of our team. Wasn't it Del Piero who said that we should worry about players who are happy and have accepted the bench not players who are angry about being on the bench and want to always give their all on the field?

As fans isn’t it our job to demand nothing but the best all the time and ensure that the club understands that we won't accept mediocrity. After all no club is anything without its fans...

    Patience is also great.

As a fan you are demanding on an internet forum, keep on doing that, one day it will make a difference.

Obviously anything written here has no baring on actual events of Juventus, I'm sure everyone understands that perfectly but I thought this was a place fans could express themselves? Some people here are overly pessimistic, some are overly optimistic and some aren't even fans, but we all have to be able to give our opinions. It would be a pretty boring and empty place if everyone had the same opinion

It wouldn't be a forum if everyone had the same opinion. It would be an internet based Lemmings Convention.

That being said, everyone has their right to voice their displeasure or approval with what is going on,provided that it is done in a respectful manner.

I, for one, cannot tolerate those who believe that their opinion is the only one that matters, or that they think they are always right, and any opposing view is deemed as unintelligent, and are told to not even bother posting here anymore.

You may not have to agree on one side or the other in what is quickly becoming a Juventuz Civil War, but the opinions of others, regardless of how much you may disagree with it, need to be allowed to be voiced without the repurcussions of being called sutpid, a fanboy, or the like.

We are part of a global forum, and there are times that I wish that we could really act like one.
