Maybe we are swapping Pjanic for SMS/Pogba and we want Bonucci to play the ball for us next year. That's the only thing I can think of. Either that or we can't find someone to take Higuain before the season starts and we're getting desperate.

Otherwise nothing makes sense.

Pjanic comments today seemed to indicated he isn't looking at moving.

Yea Barzagli is an outlier but the rest are fine.

Why not give them Benatia for Bonucci?

He may not be young Italian but Benatia is better CB than anyone else they currently have and probably more suitable than Bonucci in their shit system.

If Chelsea are willing to offer €90-100M for both players, Juventus would accept the offer. Therefore, the Bonucci operation would be different, as Juventus would pay cash for Bonucci, with Milan forced to accept the offer because of Bonucci’s will to return to Juventus. [Sky]

Yeah, that sounds much more likely. Bonucci wants back? Leave the problem for him to force his comeback. We shouldn't agree with milan's stupid evaluation of their flop. We sold him a year ago for 40m and now they want the same amount from us?

Higuain and his agent will be in Italy tomorrow and his agent is expected to meet with Leonardo. The swap deal regarding Bonucci and Caldara has been defined for days now. The only thing remaining is sorting out the Higuain part of the deal. There is optimism. [Sky]
