I didn't think there was much to do at that point for Leo. I was more mad about that stupid lazy tackle on Pjanic which led to that counter attack in the first place. That goal was 75% his fault.

In all honesty tho, how many games has he cost us? With all his deflections, shitty passes, shitty marking etc, his back pass vs gala that made them score made me cringe

Yes he usually is a decent cb, and not many like him that can pass, but makes too many mistakes

every match loser make mistake :facepalm2::facepalm2:

Gigi would of saved that

Ohhh but there was! Watch the replay, Gervinho ran towards the ball from behind him. He was supposed to follow and stop him from receiving that cross.

It was absolutely horrendous defending from a professional point of view. Pure laziness and lack of positioning/awareness of his surroundings.

The tackle was shit too but i don't blame him that much for that, it's the kind of thing that happens a lot in football matches.

i dont think it was laziness as much as it was momentum, he committed to going to the near post, sure blame is one him but it was also well played by roma
Oh no i'm not underestimating Roma's effort. Specifically Pjanic, he was a total game changer and bossed the midfield when was subbed in. He's been pretty impressive this season.

It was certainly momentum as it took him too long to realize Gervinho was going for the ball, it was impossible by then. Slow thinking got him into that situation. But isn't that what separates the good defenders from the great ones.

Bonnucci isn't a good defender. Neither is he an aware one. Ogbonna is going to replace him soon enough. I think he should've been a bit more committed in that play given that he'd already lost the ball to Pjanic higher up the field. No excuses for him tonight. Though, I understand, momentum was likely to have gotten e better of us anyway. But for him not to move. Amateur.

This guy....

Liability. He can pass and win balls in the air but beyond that he is so average. Woukd fetch a nice pricecin the market too. But I think he is one of Contes children. Much like Padowin.
