Folk are being very harsh on Bonucci.

While he probably shouldn't have been dribbling at the end, the situation only became dangerous because he was fouled and the referee didn't give the freekick.

For me the worst was when he stood 2 meters behind the rest of our defenders and an offside trap fell because of that (I think it was the same attack when Pepe failed to clear a ball from our box, I'm not 100% sure if it was).
Don't think it was the same incident.

When playing three CBs, I tend to look for the central one to be dropping slightly deeper than the others so as to be in a position to see everything that is happening and to allow him to act as a sweeper.

However, if Juve's plan was to play flat, that was a mistake, albeit not a major one. I would put it on the same level of error as none of the Juve midfielders marking the runner.

People are just too keen to look for mistakes that when it comes to Bonucci.

He did well yesterday, he has a long way to win me over but at least this was a step in the right direction. Perhaps a bit too late as we've signed Caceres.

Agreed with all of this, in particular the last line. I think that people will generally ignore the fact that he's had a few good games this season as well and label him as a terrible player.

It's not just about Bonucci, though. Some people are still on denial about some players who are looking great this season. With Pepe being the prime example, and probably Marchisio too for a more restricted group.

Another guys, like Vidal or Caceres for example, will hardly be harshly criticized for anything they do. Yes, I said Caceres because it's not really hard to predict it for all the excitement around his transfer, the grinta he displays on the pitch and the heartbreaking comments about Juventus in the media.

Amauri was liked that, actually he had great half of the season unlike Bonucci, yet everyone wanted him "dead" :D

It's a mistake to (have to) rely on the ref in the first place.

But I do agree that people are being slightly harsh on Bonucci this time.
