I have a feeling somebody will arrive today. Marotta talked a few days back that we needed a defender and a striker and so far we've gotten nothing. Also we haven't heard anything from him today. Usually he comes out and tells us if the mercato has ended or not.

Wonder what surprise Beppe got for us? Nastasic? Soldado?
Marotta mentioned earlier that Marrone should stay here as defender (he is here yet), Allegri told the media that Coman can be 5th forward on our roster if necessary.

We're done. Some deadweight will leave, a couple of kids might come and that's it.

As I said before I'll give it 6/10 as it stands. 6.5/10 tops. Coman was the most exciting player for me since the beginning. Pereyra and Marata are ok but a bit overpriced. Evra is not bad but I still don't understand why we need Romulo. From what I've seen he's better than Isla though.

thats no technicality, simply going by your words, unless you expect us to read your thoughts. You said initially 'good bargainS', then it turned out to be one, where did the bargaining occur exactly in the coman deal?
 fuck you and your trivial objections, dude but ANYWAY Coman AND Pogba (which was implied) constitute (to me anyway) two bargains. Along with Vidal which was another massive bargain.

I'm not entirely sure because I don't know what Juve's plans are in terms of systems this season.

I also haven't seen Coman play yet and I don't know if Pepe still has anything left to offer.

Wouldn't have been doing anything big.

Might have looked into the possibility of letting Pepe leave and signing Gabbiadini, or something along those lines.
yeh would have liked Gabbia back here. But i doubt he would get the precious time he needs to be able to judge. The same with Berardi. I think if they ca,e they would spend too much bench time for my liking. Lets hope next season we find space for one of those 2.

were we really though? I was more concerned as to whether we'd actually flog quagliarella once and for all.

Any how that said I don't really feel like we've added to the team in any great deal in terms of over all quality and that is the disappointing part
I was tranquil with his situation, until he started to be evasive and not saying something like "yeah im staying" instead of giving random responses like "my future? is to train". Those responses are the ones given by someone who is open to all posibilities. Last year he wasnt like that.

Marotta mentioned earlier that Marrone should stay here as defender (he is here yet), Allegri told the media that Coman can be 5th forward on our roster if necessary.
Lets hope we use Coman as our 5th emergency striker. Seems like a perfect fit to me in case all of the others are injured. In the past seasons , our 5th strikers (the anelkas, bendners of the world), rarely got minutes... so im fine if Coman needs to play this position just in emergency situations.

Much better than having Chicharito in the bench asking for playing time.

5/10 mercato this time around but I raise it to 6/10 for not signing just for the sake of it. At least not yet but it doesn't look like we're going for that classical panic buy that Marotta got us used to. Improvement in this respect, a big decline in others.

Next summer looks like we are going to buy our own players back as silly as that may sound; obviously messing up our budget and leaving us with enough money to keep on strengthening the bench.

The summer after that though :tuttosport:

Daniel Carvajal. Sold for 5m, buy back at 6.5 million after a season.
So it does happen, interesting. It makes it even more interesting when they see potential in their player making it an option to buy them back. RM can easily buy anyone they want (someone better than Morata) so there must be something there in this kids talent where the former parent club can buy anyone they want but the STILL want an option to buy him back.

our biggest purchase next summer will be berardi i recon
This.

Zakaria Bakkali, turnd down a new contract with PSV and they want to sell him now or next year will be free.
:beppe:

what's ur opinion on this guy?
He's not good enough for Juve really. Might turn out to be half-decent, but has a very long way to go...

A lot of members here were happy that we didn't bring back our "Berardi" type of players so they can get more experience.

Let's hope these kids explode this season and we get them back at a fixed rate so we dont' have to stress about not having the money for a top player(s).

But yeah, at least we aren't seeing the panic buys we are accustomed to seeing. :D

Meh. I wasn't expecting anything to be honest. Let's hope both Coman and Morata stay healthy, as I don't want to see that waste of space named Giovinco getting ample game time. Let's just use him in Coppa Italia games, and ties against incredibly weak opposition in Serie A.

Some might argue that we do need a defender and a striker (the management even said as much only last week), but I'd rather maintain the status quo than buy some of the shitstains Serie A has to offer, or the leftovers from other leagues.

Man Utd are fucking cunts and I hope they fail miserably this season. A disgusting club with an abundance of delusional fair-weather fans.

6/10 mercato. Can't give it any more, and I don't think it deserves any less.
