Anyways, thanks for the suggestion guys. I'll check most of them out. I wanted to know opinions about other laptops other than Dell and HP, which is pretty common around here. I struck off HP because the new line has the worst touchpad ever on a laptop.

I don't think so. But most of them come with the metal touchpad which are a pain.
I'm getting mine from the US btw.

Paying a $1000 to charge/load your iPod, go on facebook, and twitter is the biggest waste of money. Apple users sit at Starbucks sipping their coffees using wifi to log onto social networking sites.

Macintosh is the most worthless computer manufacturer on the planet.

i dont see it that way, i see as paying a 150-200 a year to use a good machine(i can easily seel mine for that in a year) as opposed to throwing 300 a year on garbage that will give you headache after headache.
