If we get Chelsea Lampard and not England Lampard maybe he will do well at Juve.
But it is impossible for me to see him leaving London for Turin OVER Barcelona though and surely the Catalans will come in for him at 9mm with Deco def leaving..
Deco is not leaving for sure. and even if he does the is nothing certain they would buy Lampard. they have Xavi and Iniesta. I think they will buy a defensive mid like De Rossi or Albelda. then use Ineista where deco plays if deco does infact leave.

Plus Lapard would know if he goes to Barca there is alot more competition in the midfield. If he comes here he will automatically walk into the starting 11 and would have a coach (assuming Ranieri comes) that he loves and knows how to use him.

I think we have a big shot to get Lampard who must be also getting tired of the shit he gets in England. I could not believe the shit his own England fans give him. If i was him I would leave in a heartbeat.

Ranieri have experiance andcould be a good coach for this transition era, look at his work in Parma. even more impresive was his work with Chelsea, at that period Chelsea was dieing and coorect me if i was wronge but the average age of their players were above 30 so he was supposed to build a new team with a really limited budget he ends up wining 2 cups. that what we need we need someone who could make an easy transition and build a team forward.

You are very right about Mclaren
He plays him too deep in the England Midfield. Lampard is best when played closer to the box. where he can come in on the attack our hold the ball in the final 3rd. Gerrard is good playing both in the offensive third of the field and deep in front of his defense. If the Egnland coach plays both he should play them where they both can do well rather than just one. That means Lampard just behind the strikers and Gerrard in front of Defence. rather than the other way around where Lampard suffers.

In the end Gerrard is more complete but offensively Lampard is better I think.

If he came here we would not be so foolish to leave him deep. That is what Momo is for :eyebrows:

We don`t need him especially in this era!

when he was in Chelsea he couldn`t acheive more than a place in the Champions league even though Abramovic was there and he bought him a lot of stars and you can see the difference between him and Morinho.

at Valencia, he destried the team. Valencia was larger than life before him and they could back on track after he left.

and these two teams are playing for the title in thier countries and that`s what we wanna do.

but when it comes to Parma! I can`t deny what he did! but still.. you can`t compare Parma`s expectations to ours :rolleyes2

he was only at Chelsea for one season with Roman as the owner and managed to comes second and take them to the semi finals of the CL. That is alot like what happened to Chelsea this season.

The team he came second to was the Arsenal that went undefeated. and he had alot of injuries that season too.

and when he was first at Valencia he did great. The second time he did poorly ok but i think he can do ok here

ppl need to get this straight
ranieri and abramovich were at chelsea at the same time only for one year, the final year of ranieri at their bench and they came 2nd to arsenal(who had their record unbeaten season btw) and got up to the quarters in the CL.in my book that a very good season.he did spent a lot in that season but he bought some good and usefull players, and some not so good

the thing is that neither of them can play JUST the defensive role
lampard is not particulary good at it and gerrard cant sit there all the time,he has the urge to roam forwards
i think if he wants to play both of them hes better off with a 4-5-1 system with
beckham/lenon,hargreaves,lampard,gerrard,cole midfield and probably rooney upfront

gerrard can play the defensive mid but you are right he goes forward cuz he thinks he should always attack. Stevie ME ME ME ahahaha

if i was england coach i would play:

---------------Owen-----------

---Rooney-----Lampard-----Beckham

---------Hargreaves----Gerrard--------

or

Rooney------Owen

Cole-------Lamps----Becks

---------Gerrard-----------

they actually can do alot of things with all the talent they got. they just don't have the manager who can see it. he just copies Sven or does the smae thing every game
