Well, I think Juve will surprise you! just remember my words
I hope so.

You sound like your working in the club and know who we will get and who we wont even go after..

Can you please tell me who is gonna coach us from next season then :D :p
Okay, let's think about it more seriously.

Ribery has expressed a lot that he wants to play in Europe. Besides, the presence of dozens of European top sides who are fighting for his signature and show more seriousness in snapping him more than Juventus.

Diego's rumour has calmed down a lot lately and I think that our relation with Werder Bremen has been affected after our failure in signing Frings. Furthermore, I don't think Werder Bremen will let go of Diego that easily, especially after bearing in mind that he is the most creative player they have.

Finally, it seems that Barcelona are in pole position to capture Lampard's signature if the latter decides to leave Stamford Bridge, also Lampard's girlfriend is form Barcelona. Most importantly, Lampard's high salary can't be ignored. I don't think that we're willing to pay him such a huge salary.

That's why I said I prefer to be more realistic in order not to be shocked when I see most of the top players turning us down.

That is inevitable u know...
Paying high wages for good player. That is what the club should think of when they are preparing a swoop for a player. An established and well known player surely demand a higher wages than 'potential' player. So the question here is whether we want to buy an establish player or a 'potential' player. Its important tho' to have an established player in central midfield and defense.

agree with that but so far only bayern has tabled a bid for ribery 20mil and was rejected cause marseille want 25mil and ribery doesnt want to go to bayern
arsenal are willing to give 12-15 mil no more
but so far no other team has bidded
real scouts have been at marseilles games but thats it

Juventus: Ranieri porta Lampard?

The Italian media claims Claudio Ranieri will be unveiled as the next Juventus Coach within 48 hours, bringing Frank Lampard and Momo Sissoko with him.

After freeing himself from his ties with both Parma and Manchester City, the tactician flew back to Italy this weekend and is set for a final meeting with director Jean-Claude Blanc.

The only stumbling block at the moment appears to be the length of the contract, as he has requested a multi-year deal and the Bianconeri look set to settle on two seasons with an option for a third.

Following Didier Deschamps’ resignation and the club’s promotion back into Serie A post-Calciopoli, the club is rebuilding for the future and aims to be immediately competitive.

Ranieri’s arrival would not only reassure the top stars, such as Gianluigi Buffon and Pavel Nedved, to stay on in Turin, but also tempt Premiership figures to the side.

Above all the Italian Press is insistent that Lampard will follow his former Chelsea boss to Serie A after contract negotiations with the Stamford Bridge club faltered.

Lampard’s career was revitalised by Ranieri’s management in 2001, transforming him into one of Europe’s top midfielders.

It is not just the tactician’s presence that sparked this link, as all season we have seen reports emerging that Juventus were interested in making a bid for the England international.

He could extricate himself from his contract, which lasts until 2009, with the help of a new UEFA ruling for just £9m.

Another bonus with Ranieri would be to intensify the already existing negotiations with Liverpool for midfielder Sissoko.

Discussing a potential £12m transfer to Turin, the player has already worked with Ranieri during their time at Valencia.

Meanwhile, this afternoon Juventus will make their debut under ‘new’ Coach Giancarlo Corradini, who was assistant manager to Deschamps and will oversee their remaining two Serie B games.

aint quite sure about lampard although i think a move from chelsea will definetly revitalise his career and win over his critics. His a player of good character and could very will become a favourite amongst the fan. Depending on how much we end up paying in total (i.e contract) it may not be a bad move..

how can u compare mavuba to lampard?
mavuba can't shoot for goal and he can't pass like lampard...
lampard is the man who sets the tempo of the play and he shoots very well by free kicks.
mavuba is kind of viera.faster but less physical.
i don't think we should et him if we get sissoko and lampard.

IMO the lineup would be like:

---------------buffon---------------
zebina------CB-----CB----Chielini-

-------------sissoko-----------------

camo-------lampard-------nedved

--------DP----------Trezeguet---

It looks nice, maybe is a little too offensive. However let's just hope we gonna sign theese players. Than all we need gonna need is defenders.

If we get Chelsea Lampard and not England Lampard maybe he will do well at Juve.
But it is impossible for me to see him leaving London for Turin OVER Barcelona though and surely the Catalans will come in for him at 9mm with Deco def leaving..
