Sounds more like an opinion that facts. I didn't know there was a timelimit to buyout your contract. I'm pretty sure we can still ask Lampard to buy out his contract thus we wont have to make a bid that Chelsea CAN reject.

correct me if im wrong.
i think that the case
but still his wages are extremely high. 140-150k? no thx,hes not worth that much

That's his agent in Italy saying Lampard would cost too much for Juve. Of course, that rat wants his % in the sale and wages. If Frank wants to come...he'll come for less than what he could get in England. Still he would be paid very well here.

I'm not even sure it's his agent in Italy. Lampard has Kutner as his agent and that Italian guy is just an associate to him. He's a nobody.

Yeah, plus he is not so young to want salary encrease. And maybe he dream to play for a great club and Chelsea is not such a club. He is 28 and soon will be 29 so if he don't move this year he better stay in Chelsea forever.

Juve told to forget Lamps

Juventus target Frank Lampard will almost certainly remain at Chelsea this summer, one of his agents has noted.

The England international has been associated with a move seeing as talks over extending his present contract, which expires in 2009, have stalled.

However, Franco Granello has this evening told Radio Radio that the former West Ham man will remain in London.

“I think it would be difficult for Lampard to leave – at least this year,” Granello underlined.

“You need more than £3.5m just for Lampard’s yearly wage and Chelsea can set any price tag they want on the player’s head, as high as £28m.

“Roman Abramovich does not need the money and Lampard has just bought a new house in town, so I think it is unlikely that he will leave.”

Juve fans were hoping that new Coach Claudio Ranieri might convince Lampard to leave Chelsea after successfully working with him at Stamford Bridge in the past.

“The Bianconeri need a player like Lampard and Ranieri is the Juve Coach, so it was logical to consider this option.

"However, there are some situations that make this deal very complicated," added Granello.

“Juve have £35m for their transfer campaign, which is as much as they have had in previous years, but that money must be divided over four or five players and not just one or two.

“Frank would enjoy playing in a different club and would be willing to leave Chelsea, but the financial issues seem an insurmountable obstacle at the time being.”

Anyone is free to choose his next destination, Bisco. But Lampard's agent is supposed to be more respectful when he's talking about a team in the weight of Juventus. I like this agent though, because he seems a professional in his job. Not as an agent, but as a pimp.

Lampard Admits Chelsea Talks "Up In The Air"

Amid reports of Juventus and Barcelona both going to war over him, Frank Lampard has admitted that his contract talks with Chelsea are nowhere near a conclusion.

zoom - galleria Lampard has two more years on his current contract, and can be signed by any club willing to invoke a Fifa clause and buy out his contract.

His £5million annual salary means that 10m will be enough to land him, and Juventus and Barcelona have both picked up their interest in him after going cold for a few weeks.

The player himself admitted that he is getting frustrated by the delays in the resolution of his contract, with the Blues unwilling to offer him his desired deal.

"It feels strange that things are up in the air," he said. "It is something I am trying to keep my mind off.

“In an ideal world it would have been done three weeks ago. But it is not an ideal world is it?

"When you have had a long season the last thing you want to do is go away for a month and wreck your partner and kids’ holiday by stressing over too many things.

"My mind at the moment is going back pre-season with Chelsea.

"I said after the Cup final that I wanted to stay but nothing has moved on from there and that is probably what leaves me in the situation I am in.”

"I am not surprised by this situation because nothing surprises you in football."

Juventus and Barcelona are both back in the fray for the England international, with Barcelona supposedly favourites to land him in a swap deal involving Deco.

Lampard To Invoke FIFA Clause For Barca Move - Report

Barcelona have made Frank Lampard their number one target, and will ask him to buy out the final two years of his contract if a swap deal involving Deco is not accepted, as is likely.

zoom - galleria The Blues' recent snub towards Barcelona's approach has convinced the Blaugrana bosses to go for an agreessive buy-out of Lampard's contract.

The Times had reported yesterday that Barca were ready to dish out 22 million euros (15 million pound) in order to land the Chelsea midfielder.

Better still, they were hopeful of sending Jose Mourinho's old favourite, Deco, the other way in a swap deal.

However, Chelsea have refused to entertain Barca's interest, and have also told them clearly that they are not keen on the Portuguese international (they would rather sign Florent Malouda).

As a result of the latest developments, Barcelona will now not speak with Chelsea, but instead finance Frank Lampard's 10million buy-out of the final two years of his contract.

Fifa rules allow players over 28 who have spent more than three years at their clubs to buy out the rest of their contract.

Though clubs have not used it much thus far, over a gentleman's agreement not to use this rule to poach players, the Catalans will resort to just that unless Chelsea change their minds come to the negotiating table.

Deco would then most probably move to Inter Milan for around 15 million euros, exactly the money Barcelona will spend on Lampard.

Juve prepare Lamps bid
Rumours suggest that Juventus are ready to fight Barcelona for Chelsea star Frank Lampard. The Spaniards are allegedly ready to make an offer of around £12m, but it has been suggested that the Bianconeri could start a bidding war. Lampard has given no clear indication that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge, but is keen for the situation to be resolved. “It feels strange that things are up in the air,’ he admitted. “In an ideal world I woud want this resolved before the season starts.”
