It was nice to see Barca go through a banter era. Fully deserved considering how shitty their fans are and the horrible way the club was run. What's most funny is that their deep banter era began after they sacked two time La Liga winner Valverde while he topped the league because he lost in the supercoppa. They ended up losing the league by like 10 points iirc and were dumped out the CL 8-2 by Bayern under their next manager Setien lmao.

But sadly with Xavi it seems that era has come to an end as they are playing some ridiculous football atm. I hope Atalanta or Braga can prevent them from capturing the Europa League.

I envy Real Madrid, from 2:0 they turned it around to 3:2 in second half. But seriously, the match intensity, the stadium, the atmosphere, the graphics everything is 30 years ahead of Serie A.

Xavi:"We have changed the style of play. I try to have the players press high for 90 minutes. Barça have not done that in many years. You have to understand that some players are suffering from severe fatigue, especially in defence. They are not used to the intensity.”
“Five months ago, there was a different game system. I want to press and get the ball back sooner. The effort is spectacular, the attitude is commendable… We are at the beginning of a project and it takes patience."

Xavi saying his players are dealing with severe fatigue and that it’s only the beginning of the project and patience is needed? I thought he was much better than Allegri! :andy2:

I’m patiently waiting for RUS, dingus, and Maxipad to bring out the pitchforks for Xavi! What a coward pussy loser mentality.

I wonder if we tried to play like that, failed miserably because our team can't sustain that type of football, would Allegri be blamed for moving away from what he was always best at or some similar nonsense?
