What you elaborating on isnt a valid basis for the first statement you made. Style is just part of the equation. Some clubs have specific styles and identities but ultimately it's about better and more successful football that leads to winning. Especially CL that requires that extra gear.

All the clubs you mentioned fired their coaches for better results or require higher standards, only exception is Arsenal with Arteta (or Arsenalin the past, so unambitious that they deluded their fans you value style over substance). But even there Emery was so bad that they felt forced to take a chance on an unproven former player, gambling on Pep rubbing off on him and improve their station. Or want their own version of Zizou, Conte etc.

But all those top clubs require more winning football. It happens that most of the winning teams are the best attacking teams, so it goes hand in hand, but that does not make your statement of no fanbase of big club value winning anymore. If anything, it's the reverse, coaches have so little patience given exactly because the pressure to win it all is high in absolute biggiest clubs.

And get over it, Allegri took us as far as he could, he ran out of ideas and shouldnt stay further. The fact that they might he botching up the replacement is a completely different matter.

Then we're living in different worlds. Wherever I look - social media, forums, casual fans and friends - large majority of any group would take Marco Rose or Nagelsmann over Allegri, Conte or Simeone.

Large majority of them complain about wins, not losses, unless they come in a super entertaining fashion. Barcelona are first in every possible competition and they're bullying Valverde. They want some Setien dude who got fired at Betis. Bayern fired Kovac who won a double. That doesn't happen 10 years ago.

United fans were murdering Mourinho for finishing 2nd with this shit squad, now sucking Ole's dick for some promise of top 4 and fantasy football.

Arsenal fans wanted Ljungberg to get the job over Allegri and Ancelotti. In the EPL thread I've posted tweets and polls with thousands of people voting against them in favor of these young guys. Apparently because Guardiola succeeded with zero experience in senior football every young guy is going to follow that blueprint.

And this has nothing to do with Allegri leaving. Large majority of fans don't want a manager like him because he's 'defensive' and they'll diminish all his accomplishments while gassing up random hipster pokemon just for some crazy promise and 2 months of good looking football.

According to MD Valverde will be sacked today and Allegri offered himself to Barca. They told his agent he will be a candidate along with Pochettino, Setien and Barca B coach Pimienta.

Not really, Valverde should have been fired 1 to 2 years ago when he had back to back huge choke jobs in CL. Overstayed his tenure. Barca been more patient then they should been. Super mediocre coach.

Some of the Barca management needs to be fired too, since they hired him and has had extremely mediocre transfer mercatos for past 5 years.

I'm not qualified to evaluate this Setien guy, whether it's too risky or foolish etc, but Valverde himself was picked up from a mid table Villareal so not much different there (except Villareal were pragmatic counter attacking team, while this Betis play quite Spanish flair and fancy footie lol). Barca have run out of in house Cule coaches so they go for whoever thats flavour of the season in La Liga.

Teams and fans would rather some unknown sexy hipster wannabe Pep/Cruyff than an actual winning proven coach. That's the whole point.
