Maybe they are just waiting for a) to finalise terms of release with chelsea and/or b) for chelsea to finalise the replacement and his staff

That shouldn’t take two weeks, and that’s if you believe they didn’t have Sarri lined up until after the euopa league final, which is ridiculous in itself.

This should be the normal guess, first thing people think of instead of weird theories or panicking.

Likely 99% done deal and waiting for formalities, and small chance finding an agreement on release clause. Sarri prolly already told the club what players he wants, and they're in no rush.

1% chance Pep and we are waiting for City's verdict.

Lol at people thinking CL-less City will be a deal breaker for Pep -- he probably would like a season without that pressure and keep dominating the island.

There were rumors that Chelsea wants a discount on Higuain. Also they were rumors that if they get 3rd they are obligated to loan him for another year. If these two rumors are true then the delay is justified.

Two weeks is nothing.

Remember how long it took for Sarri to Chelsea be finalized?

It's not the same case, ADL isn't involved, and it's a more amicable process. But I would start wondering if we go past 3 weeks, not now.

ive seem contradictory reports on this some claiming option some claiming obligation

If you're a betting man and if this bet is available, bet on Higuain not being part of our squad next season.

I'm more afraid of Hysaj.
of course. regardless of Sarri's preference for him the club will do what it can to get his heavy wages off the bill and recoup enough money to avoid a loss on the books

It might be option to buy but obligation for loan at least. If Chelsea ends up loaning or buying Higuain I'm sure it'll be because of an obligation of sort.

Don't worry, man. The app is garbage. It's just funny.
