I think if we were willing to play two attack minded CM's we would have played Ramsey with Santi Cazorla, but we obviously need someone defensive minded in there. Personally I can't see Kwado starting for us, because like I said, he'd be competing with Santi and Ramsey.

wait youre actually serious? Asamoah would walk into your lineup with ease. youre just biased towards Cazorla because you like him and he had a good season behind him. and Ramsey and Coquelin? best joke i heard all day
A poster like you would have been ridiculed to no end a few years ago. There is absolutely no difference between you and others who were ridiculed for their extremely biased opinions in the past.
First of all, I didn't say Coquelin was a better player, I said that he and Kwado wouldn't compete for the same place.
As for Kwado being better than Santi, I don't even know where to start man.
That's what I've heard from some other Arsenal fans, but I thought you guys would be after someone like Schneiderlin. I guess competition/depth wouldn't be a bad thing.
I know you are Serie a biased, série à is 3rd rate only reason the Portuguese league isn't above it its because Portugal is broke as fuck and Serie a is feeding of its past glory and juve success.
As for the whole Asamoah thing I was kinding of course fans would miss him and many do appreciate his amazing work ethics and beautiful smile, but I can't help but feel that he'd be more appreciated if he were more involved in another club, vidal pogba marchisio and now Khedira that'd quit the competition!! And evra has been significantly better than kwadwo has ever been as a lb.
And Fred with kwadwo arsenal would be a lot more solid in the midfield I wouldn't know who to replace him with because I don't watch arsenal but kwadwo wouldn't have a hard time finding a starting spot

Southhampton are asking for an insane amount of money for him tbh. I think we have to bring in another DM, but I'd rather we spend the bulk of our budget on a marquee striker.
What is this Cazorla comparation? They are completely different type of players. Give Asa 2-3 months at Arsenal and he will be a starter in their midfield. Hell, he can easily start at Arsenal as a LB from the start of the season.

Well, yeah, that's an obvious choice. Don't know who you might be after but having signed Sánchez and Özil in previous years then it'd probably be someone of that sort of level?
What's Wilshere's situation? I see no mention of him when you talk about the offensive CM in your team.
I think Asamoah's positioning and tactical awareness is hugely underrated here. He's quicker, better engine, more physical than Evra. Evra is better crosser and in the air, yeah...
That's almost exactly what I said. Asamoah is also more physical indeed. So he has 3 traits over Evra, but bows on the rest of them. Asamoah needs to shift to midfield asap. It's no coincidence we got so far in the CL wih Evra. And possibly the most important thing: how many timed has Asamoah actually played as a LB for us in a 4-mrb defence? You can probably keep count of that with one hand. I remember he did against Real Madrid a season ago and he let Bale cut inside and piss the ball against the net. We need to do better.

No, he isn't IMO. But he's a very good player that's on the second tier of creative midfielders IMO.
Coquelin did extremely well last season, if he can keep up that form, IMO he's more than good enough.
i didnt say you said that. but as Asamoah is better than any CM you have, you would simply shift around to fit him in. Asamoah-Schneiderin/other DM-Cazorla with Ozil, Sanchez and a CF infront. thats how you would play if you had Asamoah. Ramsey simply cant start ahead of him, maybe ahead of Cazorla if he is better, which he is not
Who cares about Arsenal. They suck. Face it they have no ambition to actually win a trophy just to stay competitive enough to make money. Sad for the fans really

I wouldn't hold it against him if he left. Kwadwo would wreck havoc in Man U or Arsenal and other top clubs, instead he is rotting on the bench of an overachieving juventus side in a 3rd rate league.
Kwadwo's fan base would also explode if he went to the EPL, his wages would be quadrupled. The saddest part is only me and @Zacheryah would truthfully mourn his departure.

Well I certainly hope so. Another season with Giroud would be a disaster.
I haven't mentioned Wilshere because he's been really disappointing so far, he really needs to develop his end product and decision making, he loses the ball far too often to play as a CM. I'm hoping he stays fit and gets games here and there in the CM position, because he certainly has ability.

Totally. Hell, Asabob used to play as the #10 in Ghana's U-21 setup -- he's been deployed all over the pitch. At the end of the day, coaches trust him to follow their directions basically to the letter, to understand exactly what is required of him -- and he's the type of guy that you know busts his ass in training every single day. Super hard worker, great teammate, and speaks of being at Juventus like there's nowhere he would rather be.
He's also only 26, and headed for his prime. Not. For. Sale.

Probably it's time to cash in on him, I'm sure Manchester City has a couple tens of millions hanging around willing to be spent on a symbolic english midfielder.

btw it's a shame Wilshere hasn't live up to his potential hitherto. One of the few, if not the only, young english player I had some hope in.

Welbeck is average as fuck, has absolutely no technical ability or football brain. He's only got speed, agility and strength going for him.
Its a shame about Wilshere, he really looked good as a teenager, I had high hopes myself. Hopefully if he rids himself of injuries, he'll still have room to improve.
