The opposite, the fact that he is seen only as a forward is why he is getting so little time probably. Only started as a winger once, the coppa game where him and Pepe played wing to Llorente, lasted only 36 minutes until he had to be subbed off for injury. Otherwise he is strictly seen as a forward to replace Tevez and nothing else. Not AM, not winger.


Yes he isnt the go to guy to replace Llorente, but he is still primarly seen as a forward it seems.

Yes, but in Tevez's position. Maybe the term 'centre forward' isn't clear enough, it means #9, Alan Shearer, Paolo Rossi, the role Morata, Llorente and Matri vie for. Coman isn't going to play with Tevez instead of one of them. The reason he isn't starting many games in a front two is because Tevez is there, that is who is battling against.

Don't reeeaaaaaally care much that somebody so inexperienced and young isn't starting games for us. At his stage, he'll benefit from a season of training with seasoned pro's.

Should be loaned out next season. I'm assuming Sassuolo will have plenty of room in their attack.
