Allegri could have let him play to the end of the game. Rats couldn't do shit at the time. There's no need to sub him with whoever that was when the score was 0-3 and the game was only a few minutes away from FT.
Mad that your son doesn't get more playing time with the little league squad?

We should loan him out to get regular first team football. He wont get many chances here anytime soon as we rarely use wingers. Send him to a place like Torino, Verona or Udinese on loan.

Don't know why people are getting so worked up by that sub, Coman didn't look all that annoyed or upset to me. Allegri will probably play him against Parma and Coman will/should forget all about this, also given how we were playing he wouldn't have seen much of the ball anyways... besides that I was actually happy that Allegri wasn't bothered by or bound by these limitations like you can't sub out a player you just subbed in. if the coach believes a sub/change is necessary, do it.

Despite being 18 Years old, he's already in the first team of one of the biggest and best clubs in the World making plenty of money for following his dream. Is a potential future starter for us one day if he does well enough in the long run BUT his feelings are being hurt, he isn't getting wrapped up in cotton wool, kissed on the forehead and put to sleep with a nice bottle of warm milk after every match day. Poor lad, bless him. It would be better if we stopped caring so much about results and started cuddling and loving our players to death. Am I right lads?

Its not worth analyzing, goes without saying really. Yes its unfortunate to get subbed after being on 15 mins, especially when you leading 3-0, but fact of matter is Allegri chose the safe choice, Coman is not equipped to be sole attacker that helds of a whole defence on his own to waste time and give defense breathing space. Kinda nuisance when its just few minutes left, but its the logical choice to have a big tall towering striker as the sole attacker for you to do the required task, instead of a short 18 year old winger. He was dissapointed to be subbed, but its not end of the world, he gets it. Fact of the matter is, Allegri chose to sub him in BEFORE Llorente to replace Matri, that should give him confidence, instead of the forced sub that comes with red cards (if any player was red carded in any position, I can assure you he would been subbed first of all still), in these sitautions experienced coaches, especially italian ones, allways go with the safer choice.

don't understand all the fuss. 3-0 with 7 mins to go or not, I liked the fact that Allegri got worked up over the red card and wanted to protect our lead even though it seemed unlikely we were gonna lose it - it shows that this match and this cup mattered and he, along with the team, wanted to win it.

I am guess being 10 men down it was the natural sub as Llorente was about to come on. I had always assumed this was the case as Llorente is better in the air and had the height, that the easiest way Fiorentina would score would be from set pieces or crosses in, and having Llorente there would reduce that risk.

Spot on, excellent attention to detail from Allegri. This is why he's an actual football manager because even with a 3-0 lead he followed the best course of action, the same one he'd have done at any other scoreline. What's funny is i'm pretty sure the set piece directly after the Llorente sub was put behind for a corner by Llorente.
