And its not that I don't think he is any good, he would be useful...

...but has there EVER been a top player suffer not one but TWO major knee injuries and every come back to any kind of usefulness? Brazilian Ronaldo but he was NEVER the same. Not even close.

What I think is happening here is Beppe is trying to unsettle a Roma player or club enough to rehijack the Schick deal back in our favor.

New bid for Strootman if we're to believe news without any quotes.

Dunno if we'll sign him or not but I do think we'll push for him. I actually think he's the only mid we want at the moment.

I'm still lighting those candles, Dusan.

I didn't want you to think that you were alone, brother.

Without reading any news my brother (Romanista) told me a couple of hours ago: I think he'll end up in Juve. A couple of hours later this news pops up.

    Those candles, man...

we surely have a thing for midfielders with serious injury issues, Pepe and Assamoah were here a long while after they were broken, then we signed Khedira, then Marchisio broke, now we're after this guy... it's like we have to fill a quota for JMedical

How would you rate Strootman's 2016-17 campaign?

    - - - Updated - - -

Oh, and to answer your question about the two major knee injuries thing.

In fact, I won't even answer it, because if you don't know, then I don't know what to say :sergio:

4 goals, 7 assists and over 30 games played.

Do you see a risk in his injury past or nah? That's all I'm worried about.

And nearly 2800 minutes in Serie A alone. That is the type of injury that can happen to anyone though. So, I'm not too worried about it. If his injuries were skeletal, or muscle and hamstring issues, then I would take a step back and look at it.

You STILL did not answer my question though. Considering who you are talking to right now, I am beyond stunned that you don't know the answer to your own question

I figured my thumbs up would have answered it (your question that is). :D

Pretty darn good season, especially by our midfield standards.

As far as an injury risk I'm terrified

You asked if there was ever a top player who has come back from 2 major knee injuries.

Oh fuck this. I'll answer it.

ROBERTO BAGGIO. In fact, he came back from three.

I swear, you've only been a Juve fan for a week

Baggio was long gone when I became a fan AND I'm younger than you. So there's that.

    Holy shit, that's crazy.
Yep. They said he lost 20 pounds of muscle as well.

His first major knee injury was when he was just 18. 2 days before he was to complete his transfer to Fiorentina. The club still decided to go through with the transfer and paid for the operation, even though he wasn't officially presented yet. That is why he was so loyal to them.

    Anyway, back to Strootman.

    Yes please :D
