Actually it would be kinda bizzare to sign another CM for 40m unless we selling Khedira.


Because we would essentially signing a 6th CM when our main formation asks for 2? Unless somehow the CL loss convinced Allegri he must play 3 CMs to get the big ears.

Yeah. A (at best) slight upgrade over Khedira for close to €40m. Great transfer that would be.

Strootman can at least tackle, he's useful in that department. Khedira is completely useless against decent opposition.

Most judged him based on the CL final performance where everybody played like shit, yet forgot Khedira started in most of the matches that led to the final.

Strootman may be a little overpriced cause he spent a couple of years injured prior to last season but in this current market nobody is cheap, especially if you're trying to sign players by the end of the transfer window.

Khedira is not shit, he just needs to be played as a more forward central midfield. Like he can support the attack a lot and he is much better on attacks. But because we lack defensive midfielder, we expect him to be like that. Now with matuidi I think he will play better, because now we have dedicated guy for what we expected from the turkish german
