This boy has an insane amount of potential and he seems like a grafter. Could be an absolute superstar for us.

I’d quite like to see a couple of games with Vlahovic benched and Yildiz playing as a false 9 with nico, Koop and Chico interchanging behind him. That would be a very fluid and exciting attacking quartet. He was great today but he could have a lot more influence if he was deployed centrally or in the free role
Agree with that lineup but then we wouldn't have anyone else to sub them; fagioli, mbangula and Weah as subs are such a downgrade lol.

A player this good this young kinda scares me a bit that it won’t be long until the Madrids of the world come knocking.
Shouldn't that be good for us?

We need to increase the market value of our team and we've barely had potential 80-100M players in our squad in the last few years.

After the Allegro/Agnelli/Tici debacle, this is the last thing we should be worrying about.

JJ should be fine as long as we have a management who know what they're doing. The emergence of Next Gen should keep us optimistic for the years to come.

You’re right but I meant it as a fan it kinda sucks we’re not at the level where we can stop the big dogs from luring them away. Can’t remember the last time we had so many youngsters doing well here.

Not too many as promising players in Next Gen nowadays apparently. @JuveJay to confirm.
I don't think you get a Yildiz regularly from the academy but would be nice to be in a position like that one day, similar to what other clubs like Barcelona produce. We didn't develop him from scratch so we may have to continue to get players from elsewhere, but would be good to see players coming through from 8 or 9 years old like Marchisio did. Because Next Gen is essentially a club side it will always have a mix of academy players and under 23 players brought in from elsewhere, plus the one or two veterans.
