Decisive individual brilliance, basically doing what is expected from a No.10, has what it takes to keep getting even better, just needs to be used in a role that he truly thrives in.

Let's hope he can keep up the performances. We'll need this kind of decisive factor If we want to dispute something this year.

Yep, this is the Dybala type decisive goals in key Serie A games I been waiting for Yildiz to show. This was a big time breakout sub appearance for him, big for his confidence, and the confidence the team will have him in going forward. Need to build on that clutchness. If you wanna be the key player with the nr 10, you need more of this.

Pretty cool we've signed two/three golden boys!

Still not enough of an excuse for being totally invisible for more than a month.
Fatigue has probably mattered too. Too tired to make the runs that he did yesterday. His run inside on Savona's cross has rarely been seen. Weah's tap in or his other goal is also based on having energy and determination to position yourself there. Yildiz has mostly remained outside the box - he needs to work his way inside to score or create space for Dusan. When we attacked the box in the beginning games this season, we had half our team there. After those games half the team got reminded of JMD and got injured.
He looked a lot more energetic yesterday and I hope he can continue in this vain moving forward. Before yesterday however, he looked extremely fatigued and then you take the wrong decisions, the touch is poorer, you don't make any runs and you kind of muddle through. He needs more rotation in order to step up his game. Not saying that everything comes down to fatigue but that I do think it has had a strong negative influence on his game. I would also argue that maturity helps in conserving energy by making the right choices. Last year he was everywhere and could only last 60 mins/game, he still quite raw in that sense.

Not a winger.

And that is why he will suffer under stubborn Motta.
He has more space and freedom playing as a LW than he would playing in the central AM role or the ST role.
I would like to see Yildiz play as a false 9 but that would be on the expense of Vlahovic

Want to see more of this. Once it's figured out how best to use him he will really emerge as a top player. Hope we manage him well because he's got what it takes imo

My personal expectation before the season was 20 G+A for Yildiz. It was considered a high number, especially for what was a low scoring team in the Allegri seasons and the unknown which was Motta.
I'm glad to see that he's en route to reaching that number. He has 5 G+A after 12 matches. Since we're guaranteed to play at least 50 matches this season, he can reach those 20 G+A.

In the last 15-16 years, the only u21 Juve players who had more than 10 G+A in a season were: Pogba 18 GA as a 20/21 years old and Kulusevski with 14 GA as a 20/21 years old.
Yildiz is a year younger than they were when they had these numbers.

Go Yildiz!
