Lazio want €25m for Keita?
By Football Italia staff

Lazio would reportedly accept €25m plus bonuses from Juventus for Keita Baldé Diao.

Bianconeri general manager Giuseppe Marotta confirmed yesterday that an offer had been made for the Senegal international, believed to be around €20m.

According to calciomercato.com, Keita is determined to make the move to Turin, despite the attentions of Inter.

Because of that, the Aquile have lowered their asking price from €30m to €25m in cash, plus bonuses.

While that offer is still too high for Juve, who are offering €20m plus bonuses, it represents a thawing of relations between the two sides.

The Biancocelesti are now willing to negotiate with the Scudetto winners, after sporting director Igli Tare insinuated the Turin giants had made an illegal approach.
Beppe will get him with 20m plus a few mil bonuses.

Lazio get 0 next season so won't say no to Juve if that's the only place they can sell him to.

The kid gets upset when he doesn't play...tweets it...now what the hell does he think is going to happen when he competes against Higuain, Mandzukic, Douglas Costa, Bernadeschni, Pjaca, Cuadrado, Dybala...

With Kean we can call him up when we can get him some minutes...then play him with the Primavera for more PT but can practice with the first team. Costs us absolutely nothing. 7 players a 25m player would have to compete with or a 17 year old with massive potential we already own?

No brainer.

Hell, if rumors are to be believed...we still might be after Schick.
And a 17 year old who has Raiola as his agent won't cause problems, due to that same agent?

Diao knows exactly what he would be up against if he came here. Yet he is still refusing all offers to come here just the same. Does that not speak volumes about him just as much, if not more so, than some tweets?

If anything, if we are going out on a limb here, who should be starting at Lazio AHEAD of this kid? You can't really blame him all that much, can you?

Not necessarily. He would obviously make more here, that could be a factor.

--------------Mandzu/Higgy----------------
Pjaca/Keita--Dybala/Berna--Cuads/Costa

2 players for every spot, cot dayum what an overkill attack. Not to mention most players can play 2-3 positions out of those. Insane.

If Cuadrado leaves to make space for Keita, well, it's a double edged sword. Keita is clearly better, younger, in better form and plays LW which is the wing lesser favored by Costa and Berna. However, we'd be switching a guy who behaves well, loves the club and gives his all on the pitch to a whiny kunt who pulls dumb stunts every now and then.

How would you feel about that?
After bonucci? This nothing

I don't think we're going to sell Dybala this summer. We already sold Bonucci. However, if we secure Keita now, adding him to Bernardeschi, I will be much calmer next summer selling Paulo having those two under our belt for a year.
Dybala underperformed last year, but potential is there so all on allegri to utilize him properly

What about players. Gotta be some excess here that we could offer lazio to close the price gap. Do they need a mediocre CM by any chance? :xfinger:

As Pjaca and Manzdu are adept depth for DCosta, he surely comes as the anti-dybala, wise move by Beppe, this will raise our Mercato fom 6 to 8!

We've had a history of keeping two players for every position over the past few years. And some positions we've had even more. If we continue to play the 4-2-3-1 we could as well keep hold of Cuadrado since Keita would only cover for Pjaca, who's still injured.

Higauin
Kean

D. Costa jjjjjj Dybala jjjjjj Berna

Mandzu jjjjjj Keita jjjjjj Cuadrado

Pjanic jjjjjj Marchisio
Bentancur jjjjjj Khedira

A. Sandro jjjjjj Chiellini jjjjjj Benatia jjjjjj Cancelo
Asamoah jjjjjj Rugani jjjjjj Barzagli jjjjjj De Sciglio

Buffon
Szczesny

Two players for each position. Surely many of them can play more then one position, but as far as depth goes, we'd only have 2 players for each position
