He won U19 Euro and U20 WC already, and Serbian Cup with a team that's not Partizan/Zvezda. And was a starter for 4th placed team in Serie A. He's got enough experience

Come on now. I might be the biggest SMS nuthugger here, but we can easily get him this year. No matter what Lotito says he will imo sell him for something like 40-42 mln. If we give them 34 + Rincon, 30 + Lemina or 55 + Sturaro he is ours.

I can understand him staying at Lazio. I can understand us wanting to buy him. I can even understand us buying him next summer, or in 2 years.

But I'll never understand why wasn't he called up for our senior NT team. And we SUCK on that position.

I honestly don't think we can buy nor I think they'd accept such offers. They might accept the last one but I don't think we'd ever bid that high.

Also, IF we do buy him then we'd have to settle with our DCs which is a huge risk and leave De Sciglio + Licht on the right.

Why would SMS cost more than Bakayoko and Tolisso? He might be better (and imo he is better, especially if compared with Chelsea guy), but I cant see nothing he did to justify 45+ mln price.

I agree with you. I'm one of those who thinks he's way too overpriced.

But if Lazio decides to sell him it's gonna be an insane price IMO.

his price should be the same as Bernardeschi's 40-50m and that is max. He really seems to be next world class CM, but right now none can tell that for sure. I would gladly take him because our midfield will need revamp sooner or later (probably in two years time). Khedira is already 30, Marchisio 31 so I would love to have one younger guy here.
