God what a waste of this players possible talent. We sign the guy in the summer, make him watch all the first teams matches from the bench. Throw him into serie c to earn his stripes and while there he ruptures his ACL at the point of the season where it looks like we could start to make use of him.

Its just in our destiny

According to Google about Rupture of the patellar tendon:

"Complete recovery takes about 6 months. Many patients report that they required 12 months before they reached all of their goals ..."

#KaioJorge, confirmed news: rupture of the patellar tendon of the right knee. A surgery is needed in the next hours. Season over for sure, the recovery time will be announced after the surgery. #Juventus

I feel bad for the kid.

But I don’t know why the club ever signed him. Even if he was acquired for trade bait there has to be better, cheaper, viable options.

The entire situation is fvcked

#Juventus Kaio Jorge injury update:
- Ruptured patellar tendon
- Timeline is 9-12 months but knock-on effects can last longer (see Liverpool’s Joe Gomez for recent example)
- Arguably the toughest injury for footballers due to high & varying loads on patellar tendon
