This is indeed very interesting, and would love to take part of it, but at the same time I think it should be organized. I have some thoughts though:

1-I don't see there is any conflict between radio and podcast, it can be live and recorded and edited and then released as a podcast for people who missed it or want it on the go. This way the live show doesn't need to all tense because talkers don't want to make mistakes. Talkers can goof around and make mistakes all along, because someone will be editing it for the world to listen :)

2-Am not sure about having it onsite, why would you do that? Why would you restrict your reach to Juventuz.com members only? There are a load of broadcasting websites out there. We would gladly sign up there just to listen to you guys. But people who don't know us won't really come here to sign up to tune in.

3-My vision is the following, have a 30 minute prematch show, three hosts talk about the match, analyse it, talk about the news related ...etc. Also another 30 minute post match same thing goes. However we can have a weekly show at set times (or announced on the forum) where anything goes music, movies, books, calcio...etc of course with the main theme revolving around juve.

4-I oppose having a music show, a movie show, a match show, a calcio show...etc this way you are just diluting your brand and segmenting your audience. Have a weekly live show for 2 hours...this way everybody will tune in to ONE main show.

5-Ideally a live show would be also have a video feed. Hosting the shows on ustream.tv for example would be great! All the talkers could have a videocam and talk and discuss. PLUS everybody who is tuning in could chat live on the right while the speakers are talking. This comes in handy when someone needs to pitch in with something quick, like if a talker is trying to remember a goal, XxJuventus1897xX could jump in and type "Juventus-Parma 2005" ...anyways you get the idea. Or if someone is talking about a story that has a link, the talker could just plugin the link in the chat window...

6-Ideally there would also be some show notes that's like an index about whats on the show for listeners in the future....

7-We have to set OFFICIAL hosts. for the weekly shows, 4 hosts, and maybe guest speakers could pitch in (pre-planned) or just casually someone jumping in. For the match shows, 2-3 hosts, nobody can jump in though (30 minutes is too short)

Edit: I noticed some asking about high-speed internet and cutting off's and what not, that is normal, I have seen that (heard) a LOT! No big deal, no one expects a professional BBC radio show. But generally if you are not on dial up (who is these days?) then we shouldn't have much problems.

Anyways to summerize:

1-Pre-Match show + Post-match show (30 minutes). Weekly show (2 hours)
2-Radio and podcast can go hand in hand. People tune in live, someone could record and offer it for people who missed it.
3-Would prefer offsite hosting to maximize exposure (ustream.tv for example)
4-consolidate the shows, no need to fragment.
5-2 or 3 hosts for match shows and 3 or 4 for weekly show.

I would be very much interested in participating and contributing. I interned for a sports radio station when I was in high school so I know about programming structure for this genre.

-Pre-game/post-game analysis broadcasts should definitely be a staple

- arrange/limit program schedule to club/world of football talk primarily in the day with 30min/hour long broadcasts at most. These can be repeated throughout the day.

- keep news updates at a constant intervals (every 2 hours or so) all times for programming should be in GMT since we are international IMO btw..

- keep misc topics/music, etc.. for later hours after the sporting day ends

I have more ideas so let me know if you would like me to help. Just pm me
Good stuff Dru, however I think one should treat Internet Radio differently than traditional radio. I can't see the use of having news every two hours. I mean the news sources are abundant these days, and what matters is not the news, but the conversation about the news. Someone opening the mic for 3 minutes to announce that Juventus signed Amauri, or that the match has been postponed isn't really going to get much attention.

As I said above I think it should be pre-match/post-match/weekly show. We need to restrict the amount of work, or people will get jaded. With my proposed scenario it is hectic as is, so imagine having different shows for different subjects, and expecting to have an open mic anytime...

Anyways thats's just my 2 cents :)
Good stuff.

What are the chances of a Juventuz TV channel?:D

Lol, that's quite easy, not different from a radio. As I said in the main post you can use ustream.tv

Hell if one of us goes to a match in italy or the CL, he can stream it live for us! If he has a Nokia or iPhone (I think) http://qik.com/

They are still in beta and adding new phones, but I think they covered a big portion with Nokia/iPhone combo.

    Rami, I appreciate your efforts.

Andy, you are definitely going to host a show, I had you in mind even before saying you will.

As Rami said, we have to start with few shows to be able to gain experience.

Fantastic idea. It doesn't have to be live either, as some1 said. I know a radio personality in my city. It takes a certain type of person to do radio. It's harder than it looks to stay fluent and on point for long periods of time.

Pre and post game podcast would be a good start. I would certainly listen to them if it saved me the trouble of having to scroll numerous pages just to read a handful of posts.
