Looking for suggestions on bitrate.

I'll probably go with 3000 kbit for the highest quality but would like to offer a second bitrate for those of you with slower connection speeds.

I'm not sure I'll be able to offer more than 2 different bitrates due to my upload speed though

EDIT: Note that 3000 kbps is the max bitrate, it's not constant.

When i try to use sopcast for Juve games only some romanian Digi Sport works fine, and they have 1500.

Yeah maybe that's a good setting.

Depends on price of course, since usually there are torrent stream links available that work on the same or higher bitrates and always work.

Really? That is weird... I know that it may cause a lot of problems for Americans since the gov. is pretty strict about streaming.
The torrent stream always works for me but I must say we have pretty fast internet.

Do one max, and the other one that would fit the majarity.

because I know I would want to use the maximum since I have no problems with internet speed, and I would bet there are quite a few that have a good internet connection and would want a max option.
