:agree:

Our midfield has actually been excellent tonight. Our decisions in the box, and Higuain's positioning tonight have both been terrible.
Excellent is pushing it, but an improvement over the lyon game for sure. Nice to see Princess Pjanic showing some more fire. Khedira is still not himself though.

This midfield still lacks a presence. Cant dominate like previous midfields could.

You must be retarded.

We had 12 points after 10 games last season. SO we've obviously improved. And seeing as we are still integrating new signings, and figuring out how best to use players like Pjanic, Higuain, Alves, it's pretty obvious we'll get even better.

Hist logic: 12 points in 10 games > 21 points in 8 games.

Yeah, the Hism is strong in that one

If it was supposed to be an indirect kick, then unfortunately the goal was rightfully disallowed, despite Pjanic's main intention being to cross, not to shoot on goal. That would also explain why did Rizzoli discuss the situation with the ref behind the goal (probably asked him if Bonucci touched the ball).

I wont apologize for setting higher expectations for the club. Expectations that should in no way be considered out of reach or unrealistic for a club of our stature today. Also, Its not just me. Buffon and Marotta recently just said they expect a higher level of football from this team. We have not gotten better than last season even though we should have. Arguably we have regressed on the pitch.
Aiming for perfection is a never ending battle. Right now, our quality in general play is nothing special and needs immense improvement. I'm not sure we have the quality in midfield to do that as of now.

If you are going to wait 1 minute after the ball hits the net before changing a decision you need to be pretty sure about it.

Worrying that Dybala got injured given the matches coming up, but that is the risk you take when you don't have a proper replacement.

We have created a few half chances, a couple where Higuain just hasn't read the situation and been caught flat footed. Hopefully we can regain our composure and keep pushing.

It was direct. Rizzoli had his hands down.

No such thing.

If it was supposed to be an indirect kick, then the free kick taker can't score a goal, which Pjanic did.

But I don't think the goal was disallowed for that. I think it was wrongly called offside.

@Klin @Alen

Pjanic’s very long free kick went past everyone into the far bottom corner, as Donnarumma was put off by Bonucci trying and failing to meet it at full stretch.
After a good two minutes of complaints, the officials disallowed the goal.
However, replays showed Bonucci was not offside, Medhi Benatia was, so technically it was a valid goal.
