We really need to pick up the tempo and be more direct. Far too much passing sideways on the edge of the box or taking extra touches which weren't needed.

Just run forward and have a go at the defence or get the ball in early.

Crazy how little time we are allowed on the ball in Europe, and how much time we're given in serie A. Even Roma will let us have the ball and pass. In Europe the weakest teams don't let you step on the ball and they attack our players the moment we get possession. This is something we struggle to adjust to, and we'll keep struggling as long as this way of pressing is ignored by the serie A teams. We're just not used to quicker passing, so even the least talented teams can stop us.
