Atleti fielded the 4-5-1 after all. Much harder for us to break down. Thankfully for us we don't need to break them down and score. A tie will suit us.

We are fighting all over the pitch. Usually Atleti is the team that puts people on the ground but we are standing up quite nicely. Arda looks ready to quit already.

They are like Juve of the 90's, with much less talent. But the defending, the aggressiveness and the pressing... that's the Juve Zeman accused of taking illegal substances. Always two players on our midfielders and attackers.
We're not too shady either.

We need Morata on this match, no idea what was Allegri thinking.
Physical outlet, it isn't an open game. morata wouldn't have done much, but we wouldn't have had a player up there winning those high balls like Nando. As the game opens up, Morata will come on and it will work for us.

It's good that we're keeping possession but damn those silly individual mistakes. The only reason we haven't conceded from them is because Simeone decided to park the bus, if they had pressured a little we'd be screwed.

Damn that Bonucci, he's a fucking time bomb. Vidal having a bad day. Evra farting....
vidal as bad as he was, was still important imo

Scrappy game.

The seem to want to fight then fall over.

I have liked Llorente so far, he has won a lot of headers.

Vidal has been poor, as has Evra. I saw we had a sub ready early one, might have been Pereyra, I wonder if Vidal was struggling.
And those headers resulted in what? :sergio:
