both in Toronto or only one date in Toronto and the other in Edmonton(I don't even know why they'd go there). Montreal have the 2nd largest Italian population in Canada after TO.

According to a few sources now it looks like both matches are in Toronto.

    That would be sweet!
But if one is in Edmonton that means the match in Toronto will be played at the Rogers Centre. I can see this happening because theyd be playing at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, so it would only make sense to play at a big stadium here in Toronto.

There's typically only two reasons why Edmonton gets consideration for this kinds of events:

    1. Commonwealth is the only grass stadium in Canada capable of seating over 50thousand people. Pretty sad, but true.

    2. Edmonton tends to draw well from the Calgary region as well, and since the Calgary-Edmonton region tends to be the wealthiest in the country, there's a higher chance of selling out.

Frankly, I'm pretty bummed Edmonton likely isn't getting a friendly, I was pretty stoked about going. Even though I'm moving to Southern Ontario for school, I doubt it'll be in time to make a trip to TO.

If they can fill it up for a Juve game, great! I thought Juve-River wouldn't draw as much as Montreal and Toronto.

Its tough to say... who would think they could get almost 40k people there for a friendly between the Whitecaps and the Galaxy?

Probably couldn't draw like Toronto for sure, but Montreal is a pretty finicky sporting city, they could sell out the O, or have empty sections at Saputo, depending on the day.

The Montreal Impact have an average of 11 000 spectators. That's almost a packed stadium. For a USL club that's great. When they played the CONCACAF CL at the Big O we had close to 60 000. Same at the U-20's a couple of years ago.

For events Montreal are known to pack stadiums. The Expos f*cked everytrhing but that's not our fault. They f*cked us up in 94 and the last few years before they left.

I don't see why they would choose to play at BMO instead of the Rogers Center, especially if there is only one date in Toronto. I'm sure BMO would sell out way too fast.
