Tiago did suck. We need Nocerino out there shutting things down. Our defense is not good enough to have two CM's with below average defensive abilities. Maybe if we get a better defense. Someone suggested a 433 also, but I don't think we have good enough SB's for that. IMO... I would try to field the lineup in my sig and see how that works.
so what if tiago sucked..
hes still our most expensive signing this summer...so theres no way hed be benched unless he played a string of shitty games or was injured..but for now what ur saying is total madness
tiago is a great player and he will prove it
the only thing i agree with u on is nocerino..he should be given a chance from the start vs either hamburg or sunderland

I didn't see Tiago do everything well today? My point was, neither of them defend properly and infront of a shitty defense it doesn't and never will work. Give Nocerino a shot, the destroyer is a crucial element of every club.
Okay, but don't come here and talk nonsense about players you've probably never even seen before today. I doubt you've payed attention to Almiron before and I know for a fact you didn't watch Tiago at Lyon, so just shut up. Stop talking shit about players you've never even seen, football novice.

BTW, you need to relax, almost every post you write, not just to me, is extremely combative. I know you must be depressed since you spend you college life sitting at the computer all day, but you don't have to take that out on all of us. Thanks.
You spend your professional life on these forums as well, so what does that make you? Only a telemarketer spends his life at a computer all day at work. So what's worse... being in college and enjoying a day out on the deck with your computer and a Corona, or being a 35 year-old telemarketer making $35,000 a year? Get a real job. Worthless.

And spell fucking Newcastle correctly.

Good post, but tonykart has only seen Tiago play once, so he doesn't know him. The guy is a football novice but doesn't want to admit it. Tonykart even thought Iaquinta was a playmaker today, so that just speaks volumes of his football knowledge. He's simply an idiot.

kk..now we have to trash sunderland at least 4-0 to prove that we are a great team and the game against newcastle was nothing but a simple tryout

Thats it. I'd had enough of transfer speculation a while back and now I've had enough of pre season.

This is a total over reaction to a friendly. Yes, we were poor but it is a friendly.

Newcastle are fitter than us cos our season starts later than thiers. We are playing a new system and a new style. It was not a full team we played. The players don't know each other. Some players won't have settled at Juve yet. Their is an endless list of things to work on.

That is what friendlies are for, getting rready for the season. If everyone was fit and ready to go instantly, no-one would bother with friendlies. Given how many changes their have been at the club this summer, I expect it will be at least October before we find out what our best team is and the players have gelled into a unit, which is partly why the Scudetto isn't likely this season.

Calm down folks, its just a fucking friendly!!!
great post
but when everyone here realizes how hard it is for a proper football team to gel into a great squad doesnt just happen overnight or in a fortnight
to get a proper picture of what we are capable off we need to give the team some time first....weve played a c1 team, china u23 and newcastle now..
we lost to newcastle...big fukin deal!!lets not forget their season starts in 2 weeks and with a new boss starting places are up for grabs
for us we just got out of the 2nd division...ppl seem to forget that regardless of our name and history iin the football world
we need 2-3 seasons to be a big force to reckon with again in europe and thats if the board brings in the right players

No offense to anybody here, but those complaining that the world is coming to an end after this match really don't know what they're talking about. You can't judge a brand new side after a meaningless friendly. It's actually quite pathetic and shows these people as fans with no intuition whatsoever.

like i said i wasnt dissapointed by the performance itself just the harshness in the result and the poor performance some of the players put on, in honesty i would of settled for a draw but a win for us would of been deserved

by the sound of it, we didnt deserve to lose. A draw would have been a just result but with the chances we had we could have won it. Anyway who cares, its a friendly, there were no points on offer and we played well according to Ranieri. People on this forum need to calm down, everytime we lose our players are shit but when we win they do nothin but praise them. Its not the end of the world, it was just a run out. On another note, Marchionni seemed to be the star of the show today, i hope he keeps it up!

What makes it right for everyone to judge Iaquinta then?

but still, as a member of the G14, a team with great history in seria A and champions league, we should at least draw Newcastle or score a goal ffs..
this is Juventus we are talking about..
this is the team that spent a lot during transfer window we are talking about..
this is the team that beat China Olympics team with the scoreline that Inter can;t even match...
frankly speaking,i have no faith in Ranieri...
he is not a champion coach that bring u champion!! only a 2nd rated coach..
and we must buy another CB or even LB if Chiellini is gone...
Chiellini is good, y the board wanna sell him?
i miss Moggi..the real transfer guru...
Juventus used to be fear no one, but i really afraid of Juve's position in the new season, those 4 kings, Buffon, DP, Trez and Cammo better don;t get injured...finger crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i didnt realise that just because we are members, we need to win friendlies.
the result did not matter, pre-season is all about working on fitness levels and working as a team trying to find the right formula. It is an experimental time of the season, no need to go out there and give 100% when theres no points on offer. You look into things too much

Lighten up mate

Seriously this is getting anoying...its a friggin friendly, u sound like the comments on goal.com by newcastle fans, as if the game was a real indicator of both team's quality.

And what did u expect from the first real friendly anyway? I mean we bought a whole lot of new players, u expect them to play optimally with each other? individual skills can only take u so far in Football. we are behind fitness schedule than epl clubs.

I didn't see the game but from what I read, I think we preformed well, with some concern perhaps still about the frailty of our defense. Honestly this season although I hope(more faith really) we can challange for the scudetto, I think us showing a good performance yet unable to win will come more often than.

i am disappointed with the result , i hoped for a better one especially that newcastle is an avarage team in england and not in the tope 4 teams in EPL , it seems juve have problems in the defense .but still it is a friendly and hopefully we can do better in the next matches.but i
