Tiago Confirms Juve Interest In Meira
The Portuguese midfielder revealed that his fellow countryman has been contacted by the Old Lady and might be playing in Turin next season.
Tiago has confided that his compatriot Jose Fernando Meira could be wearing the Juventus shirt next season as the Bianconeri are searching for another central defender to complete their backline and be 100% ready for the new season.
"My compatriot Fernando Meira confided to me that he could reach me in Bianconero," revealed Tiago who just joined Juventus from Olympique Lyon this summer.
According to the latest transfer rumours, Juventus are preparing a 10 million Euro bid in order to convince Stuttgart to let the 29-year-old defender go.
In the meantime, Juventus are trying to sell two other central defenders, namely Piccolo (to Cesena or Reggina) and Legrottaglie (to Atalanta or Genoa), in order to make way for the possible new arrival.
