Primavera: first match of the new era

The new season of the Primavera began with a narrow defeat but a good performance. Giovanni Bucaro’s team was beaten 2-1 in Chiusa Pesio by the Senior Squad of Asti. All the goal were scored during the first half. The first goal of the season for the bianconeri was scored by Giannettoi a striker who was signed from Siena this summer.

The defeat came against a more experienced team and fresh from promotion to the Serie D. The Juventus coach who fielded all the players at his disposal can however be pleased with the positive indications. After two weeks of work with a totally new team the players have shown signs of improvement. With time and the addition of Costantino and Ferrero who are currently under the orders of Del Neri, the Primavera will be able to have the protagonist role it normally has.

The team will once again be on the field on Wednesday. Always in Chisue Pesio, they will play their second match of the season against another more experienced team: the Senior Squad of Pro Belvedere Vercelli a team of the Lega Pro Second Division.

He is next to Tony too tall to be fair, compare him to Garcia who is 1.84m (just over 6 feet), pretty small for a keeper. Blondie must be 1.93m, something like that.

He still looks as lost as the day he signed. I suppose he will pick up Italian fairly quickly as I assume he speaks Spanish if his father is Nicaraguan, as was originally claimed.
