Prima settimana di voti e nomination per il concorso “Cercasi Calciatore Disperatamente”, e subito si delineano i possibili protagonisti dell’edizione 2008. La parte del leone, per ora, la fa il portiere italo-ghanese Lys Gomis (Torino), che supera la coppia “vip” Balotelli (Inter)-Paloschi (Milan). Solo settimo il vincitore della scorsa edizione, Fernando Forestieri (Siena), mentre vale la pena di segnalare l’expolit del terzino Francesco Renzetti (Lucchese), l’unico giocatore di serie C presente tra i primi dieci, insieme a Ranocchia (Arezzo).

I am glad for that news if its true, it means he is promising.

But they are only trying, dont think it would take much to keep the kid if Juve wants him. Usually EPL clubs entice the youths by offering to bring over the whole family and securing their future, but due to his older brother, one would think the Giovinco family has an established tie with La Vecchia signora

Originario del Burkina Faso, Yobie ha compiuto tutta la trafila nelle giovanili juventine fin dalla categoria pulcini. Assistito dall'agente Fabrizio Ferrari, il giocatore ha firmato fino al giugno 2011.

Chelsea To Poach Giovinco’s Brother From Juve?

According to reports in Italy, Chelsea are looking to poach the younger brother of Sebastian Giovinco from Juventus, before he signs a professional contract with the club.

Giovinco Sr is currently regarded as one of the most explosive talents in the whole of Europe, however few know that he has a very talented younger brother.

Giuseppe Giovinco plays for the Juventus Berretti squad, which consists of players under the age of 19.

The 17-year-old plays in the same creative position as his elder sibling, although he is said to be more physical, and ever so slightly taller.

Chelsea are said to be impressed by Giovinco Jr’s talent, and are looking to poach him from Juventus, before he signs his first professional contract.

"So far I have not received offers,” said Giuseppe’s agent Andrea D’Amico.

“However I am not surprised if Giuseppe has been followed by Chelsea and other English clubs as they observe in a systematic manner all the youth leagues of our country.”

There has been an escalating row building in recent months between Serie A and the Premiership, with a number of Italian clubs accusing English teams of “stealing” their young players before they sign a professional contract.

Reggina’s 15-year-old prospect Vincenzo Camilleri was snapped up by Chelsea in February, Atalanta’s teenage talent Fabio Zamblera by Newcastle Utd, while a few years back Parma-duo Giuseppe Rossi and Arturo Lupoli were signed by Man Utd and Arsenal respectively.

This all led to Palermo President Maurizio Zamaparini famously labelling English clubs earlier this month as “pirates”.

He was very higly rated last year being compared to Thuram, but i've heard injuries have got the better of him all of this season

Dopo la sconfitta dei genovesi a Cagliari, la squadra di Chiarenza non ha sprecato l’occasione per l’ultimo decisivo sorpasso. A Pisa, nel posticipo televisivo, è finita 3-1 con doppietta di Essabr e rete di D’Antoni.

La Juventus chiude quindi a quota 56 punti, 1 in più della Samp. Per Chiarenza, è l’ennesimo successo in regular season della sua gestione. Ora sotto con i play-off e attesa per il nome dell’avversaria da incontrare nel doppio turno degli ottavi.

If you look at the primavera we have Simone Esposito and Daud who also are born 90.

Maby not so important but... If you look at the all-star eleven that somebody posted upfront, we have one player in it Castiglia. Maby a boy to check more next year...

They`ve won in their division (there are 3 divisions in Primavera, all equally good), now there will be playoffs between the best teams of all three divisions
