it was working well till he shuffled the team when he took off Tudor and put Biri.

he did this because of his lack of options in attack.

But, I don't think that with the formation that we use, we could have won for more that 1 goal... I mean, we need to beat Barca in our home for at least 2 goals, to go and play in Barcelona with some confidence, but now do you honesty think that we can beat Barca in Barcelona?

Very poor 2nd half from Juve. I was rather baffled by the takings off of Zambrotta (who to me did well down that left flank) and Tudor (who was surprisingly good in midfield).

Di Vaio did nothing put mess up things after coming on for DP, and imo should have definetely done better with that 90th minute chance.

And like Espectro said, I don't mean to be pessimistic but we have a mountain and a half to climb if we're to qualify

i thought the substitutions by Lippi sucked too :groan:

what's the use of putting DV in if there's only a few minutes left in the game and DP has been creating chances.

Also, putting in Biri when Zambrotta has been doing well.

I feel sorry for the fans who paid to watch that match let alone those of us who watched that on TV. Can't remember such a sloppy performance from us for a long time. I suppose the main talking point will be Di Vaio miss - I feel our CL chance went as the ball went (very) wide of the post. He'll probably have nightmares about that miss.

Lippi should take some of the blame also on thr formation - very negative considering we were supposed to be the home team. Why did he sub Zambrotta for Birindelli? Camoranesi was lucky not to be taken off IMO.

I don't fancy our chances, our away record is awful, there's still a chance but a very small one. Disapponited once more.
