Felipe is the player which tops my wish list. Can't miss out on him. This is a worthwhile investment. Hard to see such a good Brazilian defender.
And more imporant, such a young good defender.

ROMA JOIN JUVE IN RICARDINHO HUNT

AS Roma have joined Italian rivals Juventus in pursuit of Corinthians ace Ricardinho. The capital club would like the elegant midfielder, a member of Brazil's 2006 FIFA World Cup squad, to compliment the talents of rising stars Daniele De Rossi and Alberto Aquilani. Juventus are keen on remain keen on hiring the 30-year-old, though the Turin outfit are unable to offer him top flight football.

Corinthians are currently experiencing a miserable campaign, and the conflict for midfield places could persuade them to cash in on the gifted left-footer, linked with a transfer to Manchester United prior to the English power's purchase of Michael Carrick. Reports emanating from Italy suggest that a bid of around (euro) €4 million would be enough to take Ricardinho to Roma, where he would team up with Brazilians Mancini and Rodrigo Taddei.

Controversy has trailed Ricardinho throughout his career, and only last year he was voted the most hated player in Brazilian football by Placar magazine:D .

WHy should we look for the most hated player in Brazil??

Let him go to Roma...

And don't force me to look into Brazilian football websites again because it's really exhausting...

I have a brazilian mate who suggests we should go for Wagner instead a 20/21 year old and has a similar style to ricardinho. He plays his trade in cruizeiro and is supposedly doing good. Another apparent prospect is Ibson of Flamengo, who is roughly the same age but is much more consistent performer, has pace and a great vision.

Anyway sticking to the topic, Felipe sounds like worthwhile player to get but I doubt he will come cheap. It seems DD is after French, old serie B proven stars and Brazilians so far...

The most curious about this story of "the most hated player" is that it wasn't among the writers or supporters, they asked the PLAYERS to tell them who is the player they hate. Ricardinho won easily, Edmundo, Romario.

As I said before, he is not a good presence in the looker room. Troublemaker.

I can't tell you many good names in braziliam football right now, because all players have left.

There are 2 who I think is far better them the others. Lenny from Fluminense, has tons of potential but has a lot to develop. He is 17 or 18. The other is Rafael Sobis from internacional. Striker, he is about 20 and I guess he is in the edge to left from europe, I hope to see him with Bianconeri.

As I already posted in a topic I created... i prefer Elano than Ricardinho... both played in Santos in 2004 and Elano for me is better than Ricardinho... he is too slow with ball... Elano is a very good player... he got convocated for the Brazil squad for the friendly match against Norway!!
He is currently playing in Shakhtar Donets (Ukraine)!!!
