robinho would be awesome. I think we all underestimate that guy. saw some actions of him which proved to me that he will be worth it... In real, he doesn't get any chance to show his capacity. imho, he has some great skills, not only doing the ronaldinho-style dribblings (which are worthless imo) but also shows sparks of creativity and all this in his young years. I think (and now i will get dugg down to death...) he could be our del piero replacement in 3 to 4 years.

lets face it. we are in the second league. getting robinho would be a godsend.. we are not title challengers or CL challengers anymore..
This transfer would happen when we return to Serie A.

i wouldn't like to see him in juve colours. i really doubt if he would be good enough for italian game. and he is not a juve type, as any other brasilian..

I see a lot of similarities between Robinho and young Henry. Both players made their switch to the big club rather too early in their respective careers, and as a result they just couldnt get that playing time to demonstrate their abilites and improve. After all, I think all of you guys are forgetting that Robinho is still a young man. He has a long career ahead of him and it is almost certain that he will improve both as a player and man. At this stage of career, I reckon he is likely to be more mentally mature than when he first arrived at Spain. Moreover, I suspect his struggle with Madrid would have taught him some humility or two.
I also like the fact that Robinho brings something different to the strikers that we have right now, and I am pretty sure his pace, and skill would be an asset to this team. Just look at Man U. They have a bunch of mediocre midfield players with exception of Ryan Giggs, but Christiano Ronaldo is so talented that he can create something out of nothing with his sheer ability and class. There is no doubt Christiano is a far better player than Robinho right now, but I think it only comes to show the value of having super talent in the team.

There is every opportunity that he may end up being another Morfeo than Henry, but I think it is a risk worth taking. His signing will instantly restore our credibility as a one the big teams in Calcio Mercato and Robinho, I believe, has the biggest marketing potential in the world as long as he can produce consistently on the field. He is good looking, fantastic skills, and has a smile of 10 year old. Which equals money in modern day world.

those are some very good points jun-hide. i do consider him overrated, i may be a bit biased cause of my disgust for the madrid shirt, but you are right. it's a risk i would be willing to take after all. he is extremelly young and would perhaps be the coup of the next mercato. plus the marketing side you pointed out sounds promising.
i still have my share of doubts about him but tbh real is not a easy place to make your mark in the football world.

come on over robinho.

Lets talk about Robinho at the later stage of the season.

He isnt worth of talking too much about him now.

See your point but the danger is that he will be gone after the season. I know it's quite impossible to buy him any soon before end of the season, but as far as i have heard, there is some deal of a loan going on...

I think we are going for Faty in January, but unfortunately I dont know Italian.

With J. Faty:

His contract ends by the end of the season and he confirmed to french press that he did have negociations with an italian club and also confirmed that he already had talks with deschamps. (very promising imo, if his contract ends, we could get a "cheap star")

As far as Robinho concerns i think that vlatko's post would be the best thing that could happen to Juve. Because if he is on loan in Juve, other teams can't buy him off that easily from real

We dont need Robinho in January.

And other teams can easily buy him from Real if Real want to sell him.

He is not too expensive, his value has dropped since last years.

The thing is that no one is interested in Robinho but us so far, but I feel we could have competition for him.

Lets just hope that he wants to come in Juve.

i dont think we will be going for Robinho in January. We have enough fire power for this season upfront. We dont any new players there.
If we need reinforcements then it should be in midfield, someone that could shaped as a future replacement for neddy.

Shame we didnt go for Gourcuff.

Actually, I think he can do well. His superb ability to drive the team forward when he leads the ball and dribbles is something I would like at Juve. Unlike Ronaldo, Trezeguet will finish off everything this little kid creates and I think especially those two would be brilliant in the same side. If we can make up for his lack of physique elsewhere on the pitch, I think this may be a good move.

On the ball, technically, this kid is equal to Ronaldinho if not even better.

Robinho should in theory find a niche in Spain with the style of play La Liga displays, and thus far he has done nothing more than a few stepovers from time to time. Now we want to spend tons of money on a player who is anything but proven yet and has a tendency to be anything but a team player?

Don't get me wrong... I want Juventus to start taking chances on younger starlets. However, we should be smart with who we choose. Players such as Rosicky, Tiago, Joaquin etc are the type of kids we should have pressed for... not a bunch of ballhoggers and showoffs.
tht is very unfair dude...obviously if he is good enough to play for brazil in the WC and play his club football for real madrid there is substance beneath all that talent...u cant make it to the top without hard work and robinho is no exception..and juve would be the PERFECT enviroment 4 him...where hard work, commitment, teamwork and dedication come b4 fancy tricks
