I think the combination of riquelme and 2 good fast wingers (nedved or someone else) who are also explosive can create a great threat for a team.

If you think about it Riquelme is a bit like Pirlo, however he is stronger and sometimes a bit slow on the ball (protecting it and what not). If teams have to deal with this the focus will be shifted from players like nedved who can penetrate defences when you don't expect it. The combination of passes and protection that Riquelme provides and the fast paced action can in my opinion work very well.

I'm all for for him and after watching how stupid he made that binter team in that video he is a definite buy. I really think serie A is a league that is perfect for Riquelme.

VDV and Riquelme are both big names. As the creative midfielder i think Riquelme is the best of those 4 names .

I dont think lazy describes Riquelme. Its the way he plays... he reads the game better that way and he doesnt need pace to keep defenders away from the ball. I think Riquelme still has a lot to offer.

roque is very underrated. cassano proved himself everybody should know that the guy is hell of a player. makalele i read some days ago that he could maybe leave chelsea, so why not haha alltough i must admit that the guy is very old. BENNY LAUTH is extremly underrated the guy is AWESOME.

Roque Santa Cruz can't score,Cassano is a prick but yes he can be a very good player,Makelele is too old for the new Juve although we need some experienced players,And Benny Lauth was extremely OVERrated when he joined Hamburg.Look at him now,a shadow of himself,with other words...

but you should see how he plays, where he goes without the ball and when he gets the ball he always passes if there is a possibility. never dribbles around, and before he came to bayern he was very good at scoring.

We aren't living in the past mateLauth was pretty promising and Santa Cruz scored but that's past. Now nobody wants Lauth,and the likes of Betis Sevilla are after Santa Cruz. I guess that tells much about the quality of the players
