if we want to buy riquelme, how much money will we spend for him?
Not that much since he has fallen out of favour at Villareal and so presumably they just want rid of him, as putting him on loan to Boca would suggest.

I'm not sure about this transfer. There is no doubt he is a very gifted player but I am always reluctnt to be over reliant on one player. For Riquelme to be effective he must be the focal point of the team, but this also has the effect that is he does not perform, the team can't perform. I don't want next seaon to depend on whether Riquelme does well or not.

PS I give it 2 days before Inter are linked with him. ;)

He is still one of the best playmakers around in world soccer give him a free role
and he will excel , he scored a fantastic goal in the copa libertdores against gremio. He is still worth a good number of years and the fee for him should not be mind boggling. Please get him in the black and white

weird to see that Milito said he wants to see Riquelme at Juventus...
Milito never infact said that. It was Ranieri who wants him

"Claudio Ranieri has more power to decide Juventus transfer policy and after Gabriel Milito has requested Juan Roman Riquelme."
from Channel 4

it is not saying Milito requested him but .. that Ranieri, after requesting Milito, is now requesting Riquelme

i guess the wording of the article could be misunderstood :pint:
