We won't go back to the 352 permanently but we will use it sparingly IMO from time to time as dictated by injuries/suspensions or tactical reasons.

From most of his highlights I've seen
D) he seems to drift from center to left wing and does both quite well. He is pacey and has a great ability at keeping the ball close while running with pace...you don't see that often and its a nightmare to defend against.
Hope we get him.

The thing about Draxler is that he is a good player very talented very fast good dribbler great teamwork BUT not exactly prolific and not exactly the organizer but more of another player in the team
I think Isco Ribery Reus are the best ones fitted to our needs but explosive players such as J.Rodriguez would be amazing in some other way both types would take us a step further but we do need one of those
By the way by saying those names - It is just to show you the type of player we should be after not saying any of them are reachable...

I'm not angry, just saying you made some really poor posts in earlier pages where you tried to lecture someone without saying anything.
And yeah Draxler would add some of what we need, even if he is more of explosive counter type player.
And we are defenitely better off with a 4-3-1-2, even if lacking enough options in midfield. 3-5-2 is played when we are missing too many players and can have an extra defender instead to make do, or during games when we need to close down shop.

He's a pacy direct player that doesn't have the characteristics of a proper tq or playmaking cam or whatever the experts are saying.
If we get him, expect us to play a lot more on the counter.
Yeah, tried to fix that, tho it still seemed obvious to me
But a 4-3-1-2 doesnt work when you dont have a player that can keep the ball.
And remember that i was a big advocate of us playing like that last season.

2-3 years ago I thought he would have established himself as one of the best players of his age group by now, injuries withstanding. I think he would flourish here under Imperatore Max, and would love to see him in black and white. I like this kids direct playing style and versatility. I think he'd absolutely kill it playing with our forwards.
In saying that, Beppe's apprehension in paying what Schalke are asking for is entirely justified. €30 million is a princely sum for a player who did not manage to compete in more than 10 games the season prior. If reports are to be believed, the most I would consider paying is €20 million + €10 million in performance/ appearance related bonuses. If Schalke refuse, I wont begrudge management for walking away from negotiations. We are extending ourselves interms of liability for a player who could either take us to another level or, someone who might firmly entrench himself in our injury list.

If we do not get a big name AM (I do not consider draxler one), I think this off season is a failure. From what we have lost to what we have gained and compared to our competitors, we have helped even the playing field. I love Dybala, but outside of him we have regressed to the point we may not even be favorites. Mandzuik is nice but we had bigger holes to fill also including wingback.
