@Red said it best about Pereyra. He's a player who can also play cam. Speed and dribbeling, but he's not a passing playmaker. We need a passer at cam and thats not how he plays. In my opinion, Draxler is like Pererya but significantly more talented and technically gifted.

I couldnt disagree with what I think we need in an AM role. A passing Am needs wid players to slowly spread a team apart and find the gaps and players running through them. We need more of the Kaka CAM that can run at defenses and be dangerous in 3 v 5 situations. Maybe im wrong but it just doesnt make sense to have a AM thats a possesion guy in an counter attack style offense

Fair enough. Now I want you to read your argument keeping two things in mind

A) We have lost our most influential player in Tevez and an equally big personality in Pirlo, which you can argue is more for his dressing room presence.

B) We just had our most successful season in more than a decade.

To me, it sounds apologetic. Juve are a bigger club than you're justifying them to be with what I'm reading above. It sadly sounds like something I'd read on an Athletico or Dortmund forum. We are past that point in our evolution since Conte and the club turned the page for us.

If Vidal didnt ask for the sale, and we sell him and get Draxler, i'd find it a stupid deal.

Doesn't matter whether the club chose to sell or Vidal asked. The sale is happening, so under the circumstances of Vidals sale, would you agree or disagree with Draxler incoming keeping the context of the other departures and the money attached to the sale.

This juventus has a dire need for a playmaker in the final third. Dybala has yet to learn that play in a team that wants to domminate the play. Draxler isnt that player.

If we'd get draxler, we'd miss tevez ALOT more then vidal. Who was doing all that playmaking this year, even when pirlo/vidal/pogba were sidelined ? Tevez. He was the one player you couldnt swap out. Just put on tevez, cause we had all the playmaking we need.

Oh sure, Mandzukic has that aggression. But if we dont get a player that asks for the ball in the final third, and can keep it or distribute it, we are gonna struggle alot this year.

I'm not saying the CAM should be a slowpoke passing only guy. What you need is a balanced approach. We have plenty of players comming trough, that are all good at running at defences, dribbeling, speed and scoring ability. But when you want to attack and domminate the game, you simply need a playmaker in the final third, or you will crash and burn against an organised defence.

Milan with Kaka had an blistering fast paced counter. But Kaka was also a very skilled passer with excellent vision. Him, seedorf and a much more mobile Pirlo were a very potent playmaking trio.

Dortmund also was an incredibly counterattacking team. Blasziakowski, Reus, Gundogan, Lewandowski are freaking speedmonsters. Götze beeing equally fastpaced. However the big difference was when they couldnt immediatly get a chance and kept possession. Without Götze and with mkhi they struggled making the play. This is where Götze becomes so interesting. he's excellent on the counter, but remais excellent when the team has possession, to distribute the play.

No matter what, you cant have a team that only has runners. You need a playmaker in the final third.

Bayern isnt stubborn, the player is.
Schalke have 0 reason to sell draxler
Pace and dribbeling are important for wingers, and centrally if you have one playmaker wich we havent
Kaka had pace, dribbeling and excellent playmaking and passing. you make it sound like he only had his dribbeling and speed. he didnt. he was a very well rounded player but his injury and real madrid finished him off (like they did with many players, robben and sneijder for example).

Im not saying thats all he had,just saying that was his big threat. He would have been closed down much faster and not near the space if he was more static...anyway getting away from Kaka point which is dumb. I would love to have a player that could take people on similar to what Tevez did with some end product. Dybala yes but Id like another one. Peryra would be extremely effective if he had a wicked shot and could finish.Unfortunately he doesnt but draxler can shoot. We have Marchisio pogba and Khedira to be the passers once we are deep and need to posess

Is extremely potent and balanced. Pogba would get alot of freedom in the midfield with cheesio and khedira beeing holders and supporters, while you get playmaking and pace with gotze, and pace and a bit of playmaking with dybala and a hardworking fast paced striker up front.

Furthermore, got plenty of winger talent so it could easely go 4231 from there if we have 1 winger breaking trough (preferably coman), and play dybala as inside forward (he's good at cutting inside from a bit wider.



Sandro or vraslekwhateveridontknowhisnametheguyfromsassuolo would be nice tho. But we could see how it goes with sandro's contract (omfg bosman) and vrthing
