[h=1]Juventus meets with Draxler & his agent in Germany: the situation [/h]Juventus is determined to add a quality midfielder with Vidal on his way to Bayern Munich. On Monday the bianconeri's sporting director Paratici met with Draxler and his agent to understand if there are the margins for a deal. The German midfielder born in 1993 is however asking for very high wages- €5 million after taxes per season, double what he earns at Schalke. Juventus could make an offer in the coming hours.

Khedira-Marchisio-Pogba

Gotze-dybala

Moradzukic

Is extremely potent and balanced. Pogba would get alot of freedom in the midfield with cheesio and khedira beeing holders and supporters, while you get playmaking and pace with gotze, and pace and a bit of playmaking with dybala and a hardworking fast paced striker up front.

Furthermore, got plenty of winger talent so it could easely go 4231 from there if we have 1 winger breaking trough (preferably coman), and play dybala as inside forward (he's good at cutting inside from a bit wider.

Sandro or vraslekwhateveridontknowhisnametheguyfromsassuolo would be nice tho. But we could see how it goes with sandro's contract (omfg bosman) and vrthing
2 questions:

1) Is Mandzukic a fast paced striker? Honest question. Does he have good agility/mobility?

2) You say Gotze is proven in both countering and play building. The first on Dortmund, OK. But didn't he play more as a SS/winger/inside forward there?
Also, he has struggled in 2 years of Bayern so far, where they play the tiki shit build play style. How is he proven in that style?

Mandzukic is not very fast...but covers alot of ground, like tevez.

Götze was used as CAM most of the time playing for dortmund.
...the position that suits him best @Pep :mut:

Gotze is excellent at direct style football, much less to impotent tiki taki. He was a cam at dortmund. between reus and blasziakowski.

Mandzukic is hardworking and very mobile, reasonable fast. But the future is Morata who works hard, is pretty mobile and very fast

Thanks. But when I read direct style football, I struggle to see a team like Juve applying it against Serie A teams parking spacial buses

götze has it both. he can play on the counter, AND tiki taka - as long as
you play him where he belongs, at CAM.

most dortmund fans think (and rightly so) they became worse selling götze
because he was their only attacking player who is creative enough
to break down even a deep parking the bus defense.

Not to mention he's genius passes wich made their counter so lethal

    Juventus to assess Draxler

Juventus will reportedly assess the physical condition of Julian Draxler before opening negotiations with Schalke 04.

Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici is in Germany to secure a trequartista, with Draxler believed to be the main objective, ahead of Mario Gotze and Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne, who La Stampa believes would be too expensive.

Calciomercato, meanwhile, believes Draxler’s injury history, which saw him make just eight Bundesliga starts last season are a concern to the Old Lady.

Paratici will therefore seeks assurances about the fitness of the 21-year-old, and seek to agree a deal with the player before approaching his club.

The website believes Juve’s initial offer will be around €25m, though they are now willing to take the player outright, rather than on loan with an option to buy.

For their part, the German side are likely to ask €35m for one of their star men.

    All based on Di Marzio
Nope, it's spread on all papers, just like when they discovered Vidal accepted Bayerns' offer (tuttosport broke it), and then when all papers talked about Juve wanting Gotze (gazzetta broke it).

The Draxler thing was broken by Di Marzio but all papers are buying it. It's probably true, it makes sense.
