Right, but Allegri also can play other formations so I am sure the Witsel type of signing merely solidifies the midfield for 352 or 433 for example. he might have to sc$#@! his formation altogether until a TQ arrives if one ever does.

But those are 3 player midfields. Why the heck would we need more midfielders for 3 player mids. We have Pogba, Marchisio, Khedira, Asamoah, Pereyra, Sturaro, Padoin already. That's 7 players for 3 positions when healthy. It doesn't make sense to sign another midfielder unless he can play AM, and we're using a 4 player midfield. We don't need 8 central midfielders.

We also just threw away our ability to really play 4-3-3, as COman was our only real LWF. Morata can play LWF too, but we have no actual LWF now.

If we don't get Draxler, it's better off that we don't sign anyone at all. No need for stupid last second panic-buys. Which might mean we might have to use the January window and get ripped off massively if we are in desperate need of an AM.

We can still play an excellent 3-5-2 and a 4-3-1-2 counter without draxler


Would have offcourse preferred draxler tho. I wanted to see that 433
