I said this a couple weeks ago.

That way everyone bennefits. WHy?, because if we buy both cuadrado and berardi...we can field berardi in his natural position and using Morata/mandz/Zaza a CF....while using cuadrado as a defender magnet and filler attacker on the left wing. AFAIK he is right footed, so he can cut in and shoot with his desired foot.

In case we want to sub berardi, we can use dybala who also can cut in with his left foot.

This formation is highly unlikely since allegri dont like dybala on the wing...but maybe he can change his mind if we get berardi
Do you rate berardi more than dybala?

Do you rate berardi more than dybala?
Hard to tell.

My previous statements was assuming we would use a 433 formation more seriously, with the inclution of berardi. I was not trying to mean that because i would start berardi in a 433 he is better than Dybala, as they are very different players. Since 433 is the formation berardi plays, i think it was a good example to mention him as a starter, also because allegri dont want dybala to be a winger.

Dybala on one hand is a fancy type of player who we rarely come across. He seems to have potential to be a fantasista, is a very humble dude and is focused on what he has to do which is to play football. Huge, huge potential, a good combination of talent and discipline to get things done.

Berardi on the other hand, got the stats and the numbers. We can argue all day long that dybala is more fancy and is more visually appealing to the crowd with his dribbles and touches... but berardi got the goals t back him up. He may not be a flashy dude, but the guy knows how to score and to assist. He is like the opposite of cuadrado..not flashy but effective as hell. The obviously bad would be his temper, which seems to be more of a concern with every yellow card he gets.

If i have to choose one of those 2, i would take Dybala because even when he doesnt have the numbers berardi has pulled, seems to be a cool guy who can be teached and guided to be a stellar player. Berardi could be equally good, maybe even more effective than dybala...but his temper is disgusting. Anyways i think berardi is worth a shot.

Its the same with giovinco´s case. Lots of hate for a silly comment he did.
Giovinco's problem was his incredible talent for self pity. He could have made it at Juventus imo. He would never have become a new Del Piero, but a valuable asset? Sure, definitely.

It quickly became popular bashing Cuadrado.. He was our only thread the first couple of games and won the game vs Sevilla all by himself. People quickly forget.
Lets see. Im quite sure he will play a pivotal role for our side this season. He has all the qualities. Qualities we have missed. And yes, he CAN shoot and cross. Pogba can also shoot even if he rocketed a few out of the stadio as of late.
Don't wanna gloat :)D) but I haven't liked Cuadrado since the start of the season. He COULD shoot and cross about two years ago. His crosses are never dangerous and his shots are never on target and statistics from this season would probably back that up (assists and chances created).

He can leave a marker for dead standing over a dead ball but that's about the only string to his bow dribbling-wise. He's slow to make decisions and that's his biggest downfall. If there's an opportunity to attack on the counter and run at a defense or make an early cross he usually holds the ball instead and waits until a defense is settled. Then when he finally decides to cross it's easy to defend. I only remember one really good cross from him all season, against city away. A good early cross.

And the same goes for passes. Sturaro made some dangerous overlapping runs on the weekend but he always waited until the right moment passed. He could learn from Alex Sandro who knows when to whip a ball a ball in and has more than one way of getting past his marker. Even Lichtsteiner can run in behind a defense better than Cuadrado.

I was psyched when we got him but for all his pace and trickery, he looks fairly brainless.

According to @romeoagresti, Juventus & Chelsea could meet in the coming weeks to discuss a deal for Cuadrado, who would cost €20m + bonuses.

I admitted I think that right now what I feel is kind of personal but when he didn't pressure the ball in the 92' and he has beaing in the field for 10 min, it makes me said: move your ass man

Cuadrado should have had an assist.

Lets not neglect that ffs
This, had Morata not had a bad day, our approach in the 2nd half was just poor, and I will say it again in such games where we need to win (or desperately draw like in today's case) starting with a 3-5-2 is a bad approach, is there no legit AM we can get in Jan from say a Ukraine, Russia, France, or in a Spanish non-top 4 team who would be eligible to play in the CL? cos that's be nice...

We were solid at the back and consistantly creating chances for 55 minutes untill Marchisio collapsed, and the entire midfield with him.

We lost cause Morata fucked up several open chances. It had nothing to do with the system. We actually played some sweet football in the first half

He did almost have a nice assist there.

I was excited to get him, and I think he's a pretty good player, seems like a good guy, but imo the club's money is probably better spent elsewhere.

He's likely going to be 20M+ or so, I think it'd be wise to sink that money into a player who compliments our existing attack a little better.

SS, or TQ, basically. Even if Allegri did want to ramp up the 4-3-3, LWF is where the bigger hole would be.
