I really dont see us playing 433, even when bringing Berardi...because we just simply dont have wide players for it, and also we have 3 Cfs for one slot. Playing Morata wide and dybala as a false 9 is bollocks....when we could very well field mandzukic or Morata as real CF, but that way we would outcast dybala (allegri will not use him wide on the left).

Getting cuadrado would be to be a direct replacement of Lichteriner in a 352. I dont have a problem with that because he turns our 352 in a very offensive one with sandro on the other side.... but i do have a problem with those 20 mils for a player who will be benched 60 mins every game at the very least.

UNless he changes his gameplay to be a CM , a RWB or a RB when required... i don see us splashing the cash....or maybe we will?

If we can get a discount, sure, why not. But otherwise... he is a tricky transfer.

One problem is that Allegri has already decided that he isn't good enough defensively. Notice that Allegri called him in between a forward and midfielder. Fiorentina has no issue deploying him as a wingback, winger, forward, or attacking mid. I have a feeling Allegri doesn't see him effective in anything other than a 4-3-3, and unfortunately, we don't have a player suitable for the left side.

I would still sign him though. He is a very versatile player, who could become very useful if there is an injury, and can be very useful late in a game,

Played really well IMO today was a handful for alonso scored the equalizer which had we not got it straight away the whole game would have tumbled. Granted his frustrating, but today was by far his better displays.

I don't know how anyone wants to not sign this guy. He costs 22MM. For a player of his caliber that is nothing. I don't care if his finishing isn't the best. He is one of the best on our team in take-ons, and knows how to play in Serie A.

At first I was against signing him but for real for 20m its nothing. He offers tactical variation within in this team and if we dont find a better rwb, he surely can get the job done when Licht isnt starting or we need an attacking option

I think he's worth more as a RWB than as a RW. His work rate stands out more as a RWB. That's his best asset. His dribbling is useless. His contributions today came from him getting forward with good work rate and converting on a cross. He touched the ball once in that sequence instead of 40 times. Same thing with his assist, where he just got hit with the ball. But it came because he was eager to get forward and make up numbers in attack. Again, he touched the ball only one time instead of 40.
