I'd still sign him. He's a "jolly" and a wildcard player that will have his use of the course of a season. He is getting harshly judged by many on here TBH.
Agreed. He's not a "trova la differenza" type of player, at least not on a regular basis, but he's still a damn fine utility player for us. Kind of like Pepe, only better. Definitely worth the 20 million in my opinion, as he also makes it easier for Allegri to play different formations.

did he even have a choice? :shifty:
Yeah, he could have bought micropenis or fancyboi for very high price. Well, perhaps not micopenis, but definatly fancyboi.

He made the choise to purchase a world class potential leftback, who was allready excellent last season. People here couldnt believe that. No way Madrid messed up their "right of first pick" (they would never buy 2 defenders for big cash in one mercato). Nope, Danilo would have to be the best one, and we got at most a decent overpriced fullback, and fuck marotta cause we didnt get an AM.

This above, is not me messing about. This is the reception of the majority of the forum, cause they wanted an AM and they didnt think we could have possibly made a huge move by taking the fullback madrid mistakenly didnt chose.

I said in august that he is the better pick, but no one here believed it. "he got caps". "offensively superior, defensively at least as good".

Fuck doubters. Sandro is fucking awesome and i called it.

Cant you say Alex Sandro is awesome without paragraphs of pure self-indulgant shit going before it?

Rhetorical question btw.
You go and endure last august trying to defend Marotta's purchases cause you think they are excellent, while the entire forum is trashing you for it.
Some agreed Sandro was good. Few agreed his capture was better then that insane am cause we had Dybala. None agreed he was better then Danilo. I got ridiculed cause i watched porto games (CL) last season and found Sandro better.
So yeah, i could. But i sure as fuck wont.

Ok then, continuing with the shit posting then thy anointed immature one.

FYI, the point I'm making is Danilo is an absolutely fantastic fullback you completely demeaning, he WAS Porto's attacking weapon from such a position, scored and assisted plenty, powerful and super quick, plays like and is built like an box to box crazy dynamic CM (kinda played it a bit in Santos, another team where Sandro was his teammate and Danilo outshined him too). His output of plenty of goals and assists, which grabs attention is the reason he was more hyped. The fact he isnt clicking in circus club like Real off the bat with injuries and the fat waiter Benitez as coach doesnt exactly change much. Especially when purchasing him wasnt entirely necessary when they have Carvajal either.

Also the fact I been promoting Alex Sandro in this forum before we got him AND after and I dont recall any negativity towards him WHATSOEVER (in fact they were losing their shit nonstop despite not knowing the player, saying we have bigger priority needs was nothing against the player). So this whole infantile tirade of yours doesnt even make basic sense...Maybe the posters just had issue with your poor and pompous posts and not the player himself? Or I'm just reaching.

What? The majority of members were happy as a pig in shit about purchasing Alex Sandro. Stop exaggerating. The reaction to not buying an AM had nothing to do with the Alex Sandro purchase. Alex Sandro being a fantastic purchase and the failure to acquire a decent CAM had very little to do with one another.

Just because Alex Sandro and Dybala are awesome doesn't change the fact our mercato is directly responsible for the worst start in Juventus history, nor the fact we're still in 4th place, and finished 2nd in our CL group because we couldn't beat Gladbach in either of 2 matches.

Our mercato had its positives and its negatives. You'd have to be a complete buffoon to not recognize each. Hence the reason most members gave it a rating between 4-7. We're still a much weaker team than last year, but the signs show us improving, so that's fantastic. Could Dybala and Alex Sandro turn out so good that the mercato in hindsight was brilliant? Sure. Could Lemina turn into a top player too and make it even better? Sure.

Stop being so self-righteous here. Everyone on this forum gets shit for one opinion or another at different times.

Not so fast there.

They were happy, untill we werent signing draxler. THEN it suddenly turned very fast to "why the fuck did we spend 30 mil on a fullback". And when the start went bad and he didnt even feature, alot were against him. Dont diminish it.
There were sensible people who could see the great purchase, but the majority. Yes PI, the majority found it a waste that we should have spend on an AM.
Hold an honest poll even now, "Sandro or <hernanes+sandro money>AM and alot will go for the AM".

Nobody agreed with him beeing better then Danilo. No body at all. If anyone agreed with me back then, tell me now and i'll insult you for not saying it back then.

Regardless, i'm happy we got him. Finally a fullback who can maraud the left flank, and knows how to twist and turn like zambrotta, but wich added technique and dribbeling.

Just stop this shit. I know both Danilo and Alex Sandro from way back at Neymar's Santos. Danilo was the best more complete with a much higher ceiling fullback then and so was at Porto. You having an opinion from watching a couple of Porto matches last season doesn't change that fact.

There could be hundreds of reasons why he hasn't adapted as well to Madrid as Alex has to Juventus, and why right now the latter is doing better. Personally I don't care to know, what we got has lived up to expectations.

I know you were one of the loudest voices about Danilo beeing superior. You repeat your old arguments, because you are proven wrong.

Its simple. "why didnt giovinco deliver on his promise ?" Cause he simply didnt had what it took to take his game to the next level when he matured.

Danilo , "the offensive one" went to spain, and is decent
Sandro, "the defensive one", goes to italy and kicks ass.

It is so much harder to succeed in italy, at a team that seeks to domminate the play, or play deeper in europe. Horrible for a wingback or fullback, because they need to do so much, positionning at all times, decisionmaking etc etc.

Sandro thrived. Danilo has it easyer, and does not.

Go and make 50 more useless arguments, i dont care. Come back when Danilo is actually performing.

The point is, who the fuck cares Zach. He's amazing. We're all happy about it. We're all happy about the fact this team is starting to come together and perform, and that Dybala and Alex Sandro are turning into world class players, and Mandzukic is starting to regain his Bayern form.

So be happy, and stop with the nonsense. As @Osman said, it's just self-indulgent crap at this point. You were right about a football transfer. Good for you. Now get over it and move on.
